Bottomless Trap Hole

When your opponent Summons a monster(s) with 1500 or more ATK: Destroy that monster(s) with 1500 or more ATK, and if you do, banish it instead of sending it to the Graveyard.

Assuming Pendulums ever become that much of a thing, Konami should totally put this at 5 when that happens.

I say PERMABAN. Too many of my Galaxy-Eyes have fallen prey to this abomination.

*remebers Tachyon Chaos Trap Hole*

Nvm, waste it on my Prime Dragon huehue.

1 or ban. I hate this card.

It sounds like you dueled three times on DN and made different choices each time and only based on that.

Make up your mind.

That's the beauty of DN.

That a problem to you?

The main problem seems to be that you do not realize it is a problem.

Okay.

Okay.

Do you know how disastrous it would be if the Konami officials were like you and went "Ermagherd this guy beat me with Poki Draco! So OP, ban it, ban it!"

It would be awesome, I would get to frick around with the players all the time. Releasing a new banlist every other day, its just a dream of mine.

I'm not sure which card is worse: this or Warning.

Both cards still suck, though: they reduce P2P interaction and generally make gameplay un-fun.

that's a word now.

I don't see your logic.  A card that is activated in response to the enemies card is the definition of P2P interaction

Being able to keep s*** on the field for more than two seconds and using outs like Smashing Ground, Soul Taker, etc. on your opponents bosses is more P2P than this s*** ever will be.

That isn't even an argument. In fact this is more P2P interaction that Smashing Ground or Soul Taker.  This card involves actual interaction, responses, chaining.  Smashing Ground is like "I summon this monster, your turn", "I play this card, your turn".  That's not interaction.

You and I obviously have a different philosophy on what P2P interaction means, then. When I think of P2P, I think of being able to keep something on the field for more than a split second before it's thrown away. Because of my different backgrounds with different card games, and in the process of developing my own, you usually don't have access to "instant" cards like these, which allow you to get rid of monsters so easily. Where you say it builds on P2P interaction because it involves utilizing a game's mechanics, I find it capitalizes on it, making the game generally unfair as your opponent has just wasted a card and suddenly the advantage swings over to you. Bottomless is an unfair card because it targets any one boss monster that your opponent has gone through the effort of Summoning, and prevents them from playing it. Same with Solemn.

I understand that you might want that, but I don't see how you could possibly categorize this card as harming P2P interaction.  For Christ's sake just come up with a new term that makes sense.

Reduces the number of thought-provoking strategies to handle boss monsters in more than a single flip of a trap? I'm not saying its better or worse than Soul Taker or Smashing Ground, but some more "Oh you made a big boss thing with a 4 card combo, ill perform this 3 card combo in order to get rid of it during my turn" would be appreciated.

And then needing to weigh your different options to figure out what will most efficiently deal with the situation and lay foundation to protect your push.

As far as combo-killers go, Warning is much more harmful than this. I kinda like BTH at 1: it makes the single BTH you get more valuable and you're inclined to use it less frivolously.

Wait wait wait

Yes and no

Banishing it is a lot stronger than putting it in the grave IMO. Negating a summon is dang strong still, but I see Banishing as more harmful. Ace almost never ever never ever comes back. Recycling banished isn't really a thing yet nor does it have a real reason to. At least my definition of recycle says so.

And add to it negating a summon of non extra deck bosses (which is a waste) does not get rid of them for long at all as they are prone to be revived. (They can even use their effect in the grave, right?).
