It hits any summon, which Black Horn of Heaven fails to do, and the vast majority of decks will run type-themed monsters. This can really screw up any xyz/synchro play your opponent wants to go for and it's hard to counter. Anyone else think this card has potential? Pay 1000 Life Points. However, usually you want to stop them from summoning their XYZs or Synchros, and that typically makes them the only one on the field. Gozen restricts both players though, so it's a double edged sword. @Zeppeli I see where you're coming from, but some boss monsters have so much inbuilt protection nowadays that destroying the stepping stones might be the safest idea in some situations. I made a topic like this earlier. DNA surgery makes it hilariously abusable. I don't think it works with DNA surgery as the monster isn't classed as having hit the field when it would be negated. I have been testing this card though, and it has helped me a lot even in the main deck. Although I agree it isn't the most consistent card at a players disposal outside of the side deck. Sleepy Posted March 6, 2014 Report Share Posted March 6, 2014 This card's use is much more situational the more viable decks there are out there, as it decreases the chances of this being consistent enough to be viable, and when it's not being situational, your opponent must most likely have a monster already out so you can't suffocate their play as much as you'd think.
