Battlin' Boxer Big Bandage
FIRE/Warrior/Level 2/1100 ATK/1400 DEF
Once per turn, this card cannot be destroyed by battle. Once per turn: You can target 1 "Battlin' Boxer" monster in your Graveyard or 1 of your banished "Battlin' Boxer" monsters that has a Level; the Levels of all "Battlin' Boxer" monsters you currently control become the Level of that monster.

Battlin' Boxer Bailout
FIRE/Warrior/Level 4/0 ATK/1800 DEF
When you take battle damage: You can Special Summon this card from your hand, and if you do, gain Life Points equal to the damage you took.

Jolt Counter
Trap/Counter
During the Battle Phase, when a Spell Card, Trap Card, or monster effect is activated, while you control a "Battlin' Boxer" monster: Negate the activation, and if you do, destroy it.

So, we have a Gagaga Caesar, a Gorz/Enchanted Javelin, and a Battle Phase-specific Infernity Barrier.

What's not to love?

Jolt Counter's a decent 1-2 side... if you're expecting Bujin/Tricks.

Bailout's not a bad card, but you can generally run better things beyond it as a 1-of tech. Even then, eh

big bandage sucks because why are you running level 2/3s.

Bailout is good when you have to take those galaxy punches to the face.

Jolt counter is pretty good. The battle phase restriction is balanced out by the fact that its a counter-trap meaning no one else is chaining to it anytime soon. Maining it has worked pretty well for me.

Bandage...well there's no meta/competitive need for bandage anyway

Was it Black who originally thought Bandage was some kind of Wolfbark on steroids? It's a shame he's so useless in the deck, if he had a type-changing ability he'd be sweet.

Koko and I originally saw a translation that said he was, yeah .

huh

i didn't know that they had PRIO support other than Shadow, Caesar, and Bailout

/sarcasm

actually wait

they don't have support in PRIO other then the three I mentioned

these aren't support they are coasters

Bailout is the only good one on this page, IMO. The others are played in bad variants or need this weird thing called a Battle Phase.

Considering Lead Yoke's biggest fear is D-Prison, Battle Phase isn't that hefty of. Restriction on a deck that's not really supposed to be a full control deck

Lead Yoke has far more counters than just D-Prison though, and a lot of decks don't even run D-Prison.

However, most players will not activate their traps until the Battle Phase regardless (such as compulse, fiendish etc), since activating them during the Main Phase 1 allows your opponent to commit to a follow up play (if they have one) before their battle phase. This card would likely reevaluate when you activate your traps to respond to Battlin' Boxers.
