During the End Phase, banish all monsters that were Special Summoned by this effect. So, it finally happened. It was about time, although I admit that I will miss multiples of it in Hazy Flames. Fire King/3.5 Axis will still function fine with just 1 and it will just calm them down slightly. It pretty much kills Lavals thought which is a good thing because that was a horribly designed deck. If a deck can only win because of a single card in it, then it shouldn't be a deck. If it just loses a bit of consistency, that's fine. They are releasing a hazy card with 200 defense in the next set then limiting rekindling...sounds legit. It is obviously a good card to limit/ban though, way waaaaay too sacky. Would be nice if they made a more balanced version of this card with a similar but less powerful effect (like I don't know an advanced heraldry art/evo singularity card but for monsters with 200 def). I remember some guy at my locals sacked 3 of these early in a game (2 of which were turn 1) with lavals (no quasar though) and the pluses were too strong, even though I did manage survive the first OTK he tried with rekindling #1. If Konami released say, a Laval style Pirika, Lineage of Gusto, I would be quite happy. Less quasars and more of the Synchros that were actually made for the deck... Rekindling was a stupid card, and I freely admit that even though I loved Laval Quasar. Giving Lavals legacy support would be lovely since the deck could actually function then.
