If anything, a ruling that mentions that it doesn't affect Pendulums since they are not Spells etc. Wrong. In order to place a Pendulum Monster in a Pendulum Zone, you must activate the Pendulum Monster from your hand as a Spell Card. Pendulums are pretty fragile at the moment anyway, I imagine as better ones come out it'll be even less of an issue. Alternatively, Pendulum decks start siding Trap Eater Dust Tornado.
