[spoiler='It's a big card']

2 Level 4 monsters
During either player’s turn, when a card or effect is activated that targets exactly 1 card on the field (and no other cards), except during the Damage Step: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target another card that would be an appropriate target; that card/effect now targets the new target.

It's good. I've thought so myself, and I saw trusted people say that this is good. However, when I'm playing Yugimonz and Summon this, I feel as if I'm playing it at the wrong time. When exactly should I go into Caingorgorm as opposed to another Xyz? Oh, and since this is a thread, discuss this I guess, if you can come up with something to discuss.

I'd say when you know your opponent is running a deck that spits out Pleiades (or anything else that targets) like there is no tomorrow. It's good against a lot of things but can be weak at others.

Like if you can just summon him when your opponent has something out that can target. XD

The issue is stopping him from getting killed instantly.

eh i think this is another "situational" card that never works in any "situations".

uh no not at all

And you'd be totally wrong.

It's a stupidly good card. Pressure Pleiades/random compulse/Breakthrough/Fiendish a lot, and makes them easier to outplay by having them play into your hands instead of their own.

My favorite part is how often people can't attack this guy for some reason or another. 2450 is just mocking so many things...xD

ok maybe i think its bad because of when i first saw it i ran right over it.

i only remembered it was a tag duel but i never saw its effect get activated.

Just....I don't....what is this....

Sigh....

Some people choose not to trigger its effect. That's still good. Because not triggering his effect is still controlling the opponent.

That's because the effect has Decoy Dragon Syndrome. Why would you play MST when this will make you MST yourself? It's the "your opponent doesn't want to target your cards because of this" that makes this good.

Personally, I love the artwork to this card. Mostly because it's Crystal caught between Master Diamond and Zirconia.
I don't really get why the Wiki says it's "yellow mist emitting from his head" when yet:

....It's clearly his 'hair'.

Because it's Shadollroots.

When his heart/crystal collapsed and he was twiste, his hair became Shadollroots.
