jabber2033
We know this card is good. How many would you main this format? Also, kinda wish they'd reprinted this in the Gold set that just came out. Gold Fiendishes would look really nice.
Azuh
Yeah i was shocked to see it not in Gold Series considered how many other good cards we got. Fiendish is probably the best trap around ever since the TCG split from the OCG banlist, just because its still at 3 and so versatile
Maeriberii Haan
Not maining at least 2 of this in decks that do run traps other than Reckless Greed is a sin.
goddamnit names are a pain
Not maining at least 2 of this in decks that do run traps other than Reckless Greed is a sin. Screw you =D Sometimes Breakthrough Skill is preferred, but I'm not going on that tangent. Besides it's a great card but some decks legit do not need it or have room for it. Maeriberii Haan
Well, yeah. That was kinda exaggerated. But still, this card is quite powerful. And using this in Falcon Beat is fun as hell.
.Leo
I am definitely main decking 2 of these. Easily one of the best trap cards in the game right now. Not much more needs to be said.
Dog King
breakthrough skill may be better when prio comes out here
Neutrality Man
I must attract n00bs to face me, because whenever I see this used against me, it's either on Cardcar D or Stardust Dragon. Both of which are unaffected by it because self-Tribute cost.
Ultravires
Best trap pre-PRIO. Breakthrough takes its place post-PRIO.
Wildflame
Maining 2 in anything that runs traps and doesn't clog their backrow.
AGATHODAIMON BANGTAIL COW
Vulcan has devilish fun with this card. It's the fiendish chain ever. OT: It's the strongest anti-monster effect card of the big three, but also the most vulnerable because your opponent could chain something like MST or so to it. Funnily enough, I've had times where I wish that I ran Breakthrough instead just to nullify some sort of ATK gain and win a battle (like Endless Decay). Veiler is the least vulnerable, but can only be used in a specific phase. Breakthrough is middle-of-the-road, but can effectively double in negation against some things. Sleepy
Yeah I also usually go for 2. 0 or 1 is too little, and 3 just becomes very expected. The disadvantage though, my opponents pretty much specifically safe their MSTs for this one card. Rarely do they go "Oh fine, I'll do it to that Call of the Haunted I guess" instead. I still as of right now prefer it over Breakthrough. The attack stopper is worth it. It's not really a legit reason, but I do like it that they are not just looking out for this card, and that lets it do it's job a little better, as small of a difference it might look like/actually be. newhat
Breakthrough is a lot better against Artifacts, and they are enough of a hassle to play against that I don't want to run Fiendish Chain.
