[Lore]: 

Activate only when your life points reach 0, Negate all effects on the field except this, you must special summon up to 3 "Crystal Beast" Monster from your Spell/Trap Zone. You must have 3 or more "Crystal Beast" Monsters in the Spell/Trap Zone to activate these effect(s). While this card is face-up on the field, you can't lose the duel. If this card is destroyed, you will lose immediately.

You must have 3 or more "Crystal Beast" Monsters in the Spell/Trap Zone to activate these effect(s). While this card is face-up on the field, You can't lose the Duel due to having 0 Life Points. If this card is destroyed, you will lose the Duel immediately.

I thought cards that involve you being able to stay in the game with 0 LP are nowhere near realistic.

 

I've changed the activation condition slightly, because the moment your LP hits 0 the game ends and you don't get any more action opportunities.

They have had a few like this is in the anime. For example, Infernity Zero. But as far as real life, not sure. But id use it.

They released Morphtronic Lantron and Relay Soul; both have effects that activate at 0 LP in anime.

Though Relay's IRL effect is close, but it doesn't work the same as the anime's one does (since the 0LP cost is omitted).

 

Not sure if Zextra still upholds that rule about 0 LP cards, but they're probably still classified as AoC-material.

 

 

As for CnC stuff, you pretty much need to protect this card at all costs or you lose. Keep in mind that all your opponent has to do is MST this card or w/e they use to destroy cards and you're a goner. It's also gimmicky since you will need 3 CBs to make use of this card (which probably can be done with Sapphire or something); I don't play CBs, mind you.

You don't need all the extra stuff since if you can't special summon 3, you couldn't activate the card anyway.

"You must have 3 or more "Crystal Beast" Monsters in the Spell/Trap Zone to activate these effect(s). " is a condition that has to be met for the card to be activated.

 

OT: Utterly worthless and does not fit the Crystal Beast theme at all.

While it's not exactly a bad design, it just reeks of anime-plot-device and in turn just comes off as being unoriginal and not really anything all that spectacular.
Add to it, being tied to this card is stupid, since, you know, you can just topdeck MST and win.

OT: Utterly worthless and does not fit the Crystal Beast theme at all.

No you cannot put your LP at 1, that's already been established in the official game. Also you can react to anything that would be reducing your LP to 0 (ex Battle Damage or Card Effect) and it would work. Either way, it's been established that a player's LP cannot become 1 directly by an effect.

Again, I play Crystal Beasts and this is useless as I wouldn't ever play this ( and the few other good CB players out there that I know would agree with that) and its mainly because there are things that the deck needs, and its not this. We need maybe 1 or 2 more CB's that have either some useful effects (like Destroying cards or Searching Deck/Grave for a Crystal Spell, etc) a way to protect Crystals in the backrow and a way to speed up the deck a bit. That's all that Crystal Beasts need.

The keyword is would, meaning the damage hasn't occurred yet. The reaction window is still active.

 

However, if your LP is already 0 and you would want to activate an effect, a loss has already been declared.

True. That's what I mean to 'reacting to what's reducing your LP to 0 (Battle Damage or Effect Damage)'
