1 "Shadoll" monster + 1 DARK monster
Must first be Fusion Summoned. Cannot be destroyed by your opponent's card effects. Neither player can Special Summon more than once per turn. If this card is sent to the Graveyard: You can target 1 "Shadoll" Spell/Trap Card in your Graveyard; add that card to your hand.

Yeah. Aside from the usual things (Breakthrough/Compulse/Mole), what would your deck do to answer this?

Trying to generate a discussion, though I might've failed to do that even when I chose the topic.

So yeah, discuss/bitch/moan/leave a witty remark about this card.

Shadolls may spell death against certain decks on G1, but they are really easy to side against without disrupting your deck's flow (most of the time). In most decks I'd opt to main Breakthrough Skill and/or Fiendish (depending) anyway, then you have the always reliable Compulsory, Book of Moon and Dimensional Prison. Because there's a massive bracket of cards that either can't be destroyed by effects, or you don't want to destroy by effects, these days, cards like PWWB and Karma Cut can be sided in easily, since many decks can afford their cost (PWWB preferred for obvious reasons).

tl;dr main as much nondestruction hate as you can and pray you draw into it when you run into this in G1. Then G2 on side in even more hate.

A relatively easy choice would be to run Midrash yourself, and side in Super Poly. Unless your opponent sits on Midrash, you'll be able to convert his field into a Midrash of your own, completely trolling him. This works even better in a Dark deck, since you don't have to rely on your opponent summoning a second Shadoll.

Actually using Scorn on something like a Linde and attacking over Midrash would have been better, lol.

OT: Even without knowing what the rest of the archetype did, we could already see that this card was unfair. Waiting for YGOPro to update in order to test it.

I've only actually faced Shadolls once, but this thing reeeeeally sucked. I was playing Heroics, and pretty much my only way around it was Breakthroughing and then doing all my stuff. So basically, sometimes I didn't draw into it, and bad things happened. I did manage to win one game by killing a negated Midrash with 5-mat Rhongomiant, though =D.

Yeah, this card is ridiculously stupid. Should not exist.
