Not because it shuts off entire Decks turn 1, but because any outs that the opponent draws are outside the engine (i.e. staples), and therefore depend purely on luck. It's only crippling against decks that work, because they tend to be centered around a specific type of playstyle, to which, often depends on one of the listed card types that this card blocks.Has no effect on random decks, though, because their inconsistency is this card's kryptonite.Not that it matters, really, since inconsistent decks will kill themselves faster.
