Dragon Rulers lvl1

Hey, so im making a deck and its pretty much going to revolve around a core of monsters that operate in the same way as dragon rulers, (banishing two of their type, maybe wyrm type, or of their attribute to summon themselves from hand or grave) BUT theyre going to be level 1. Im thinking of releasing a bit of spell/trap support with a focus on strong to broken rank 1s exclusive for them.

Does anybody have any advice on how to make this archetype more fun, more original, more creative, or any other advice? (And please dont just say something like "more fun/creative: dont make em"). Ie. different from the original archetype?

Thanks! every comment is appreciated

PS This is literally for my own entertainment, Not even going to post this on YCM. Brokenness doesnt matter here

Haha i know why yugioh in general doesnt like them. I played them the very first day they came out on ygopro, and everyone said they would suck. Well i didnt lose with them lol.

But i mean who cares if YCM doesnt like them. Im not going to not make them haha, dunno if i will post it here though

But does anybody have any suggestions for giving them different discard effects, or a different theme for that part, or xyz suggestions or spell/trap support ideas? I have a few but i want to expand

Here's one: Just don't do it.

Let me put it this way...

Monster that are, seemingly immortal and can appear out of thin air on the fly, for virtually no real effort at all, and always give you a large field presence. K? You think that's "fine"?
If so, then keep these in mind:
Original Rulers lost their smaller forms.
Original Rulers lost copies of themselves.
Original Rulers lost copies of their draw engine(s).
Original Rulers lost their non-specific RotA.
Original Rulers lost a lot of stuff.

And don't say "It's because they were Level 7", because Konami didn't once touch Big Eye OR Draco.

So if you really do insist on trying to make this a thing, then at least take into account the idiocy of what the actual Dragon Rulers are, and what became of them, and use that to influence your overall concept.

who said that. no one said that.

In my experience a lot of randoms said they wouldnt do much and didnt pose a threat, a while before their release

Lol. I literally said not to post if you were going to say "dont do it". Literally word for word.

I know why they were banned. I just explained that i know them very very in depth. And i know that they are broken. And i know they are overpowered at whatever number. No need to tell me like im a child. I already explained that.

But you should take into consideration that

1. Im not Konami. My decision on whether i make these for myself and my friends will not affect you, or any other competitive player.

2. Im making these for myself

3. Im fully, no probably more aware than you of their capabilities as they were my main and im not an idiot.

4. All im asking is for advice on themes/ ways on how to make them different than their original copies, for my own fun and entertainment. Hell im not even posting this on YCM

Also, being level 7 makes a huge difference as compared to level 1.

The main way dragon rulers stole advantage from the opponent was easy recurring beaters that would demolish the opponents side of the field, mainly through attacking, but of course was combined with the powerful rank 7s they had at their disposal.

Having level 1 stats would take away one of their greatest strengths, and then their next greatest. Level 1s trying to impose the same strategy as dragon rulers would completely fail.

And just because dragon rulers gave huge field presence doesnt mean level 1 monsters will.

Furthermore, youre wrong that konami didnt touch draco or big eye.

There's a difference between "on paper" and "in practice". Also don't forget that it took a little while before the babies entered the scene to give them crazy awesome consistency.

I know. It also happened when i dueled with them.. until i dueled them.

And yeah, babies were so good my memory has repressed itself. But they were amazing even without that
