~British Soul~
2 Level 4 monsters During either player’s turn, when another card or effect is activated that targets exactly 1 card on the field (and no other cards): You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target another card on the field that would be an appropriate target for that card/effect; that card/effect now targets the new target. It's a decent card, but I'm surprised at how cheap it is tbh. I've seen copies go for like £5, discuss.
the_engineer
It's more like a control card than anything, also it needed 50 more ATK to be viable for all trap-viruses it deserves to stay like it is now
newhat
I have yet to see this used for anything valuable. Maybe I'm playing the wrong people.
Zauls
The only thing it has ever done against me is serve as a minor inconvenience so I have to make a sub-optimal play. It doesn't win games and can't turn games round unless there is a very specific situation. I don't like it at all tbh.
Daigusto Sphreez
I've seen it sell for £4 actually, been following it on ebay. Intelligent opponents aren't going to use targeting effects when it's out, but it does act as a nice deterrent and control factor. Can stop MST, which is pretty big sometimes. AGATHODAIMON BANGTAIL COW
Shutting down several targeting effects that are being ran (like CED) is still pretty nice. Namely, MST. If your opponent has backrow, your backrow is safe. If not, then you can still redirect backrow hate to the less important stuff. Also, random idea time. I don't pay enough attention to actual Yugioh duelists enough to know if this was already thought up of, but still, here goes: Activate card that targets that has more than one possible target (MST, PWWB, etc). Opponent chooses to respond. If the target is valuable or chainable, then the opponent will probably try to chain something. If so, then your blind guess (most of the time) was pretty good. If your opponent doesn't respond, then you can use Cairngorgon to change the target of your card to something else. In addition to messing with the opponent's mind, you can drop a material off of this, which you may want to do in some cases.
(GigaDrillBreaker)
It is handy in the Hunder Artifact matchup, making ignition difficult to pull off. Too bad Moralltech can only target opponent's monsters...

This does not work because Cairngorgon must respond directly to the activation of Phoenix Wing Wind Blast/Mystical Space Typhoon/etc. If your opponent adds another Chain Link, Cairngorgon is blocked off. In addition to messing with the opponent's mind, you can drop a material off of this, which you may want to do in some cases. Valid. The next strongest Rank 4 you can quickly detach from is Heartlandraco. Too bad Moralltech doesn't target
AGATHODAIMON BANGTAIL COW
This does not work because Cairngorgon must respond directly to the activation of Phoenix Wing Wind Blast/Mystical Space Typhoon/etc. If your opponent adds another Chain Link, Cairngorgon is blocked off. If your opponent doesn't chain to it, then either your opponent doesn't mind losing that card or simply can't. Presuming it's the former, that's when you drop Cairn's material to switch to the other target, since you're kinda asking your opponent how much he/she values that one card. Hence the third bullet. Airride
You can chain it to another one. I don't know what use this has, but you can do it.
