~British Soul~
We finally have info on the card Warrior/Fusion/Effect 2 "Masked HERO" monsters (This card is always treated as an "Elemental HERO" monster.) Must be Fusion Summoned and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. While face-up on the field, this card is also LIGHT-Attribute. Once per turn, during either player's turn: You can target 1 face-up card on the field; negate that face-up card's effect until the end of this turn. discuss? Master Hyperion
Waaaaaay to much effort and resources to summon it in a deck that already revolves around pressuring your opponent.
Maeriberii Haan
(This card is always treated as an "Elemental HERO" monster.) That part makes this playable.
White Hollow
uh, fail... too much effort for not such a good effect
the_engineer
Really, really underwhelming for its summoning cost It still can negate ANY face up card...
Mysty
Shouldn't it be named Elemental HERO Chaos? Maybe TCG will translate it as Contrast Elemental HERO Chaos? This first condition would be much more easily possible if they printed the Normal "Masked HERO" monsters. I'm guessing this is also why they didn't. It probably wouldn't be the BEST Miracle Fusion target, but it would certain be one of the better ones in my opinion. The first clause is technically a drawback, but not one I haven't grown to expect. Also being LIGHT Attribute doesn't seem like it will do much. From my experience with Void Ogre Dragon, however, 3000 ATK on a once-per-turn negating body is very nice, and this is slightly more flexible in what it can negate. EDIT: I derped a bit. Fixed. Alastar Rainford
Good for mid to late game in HERO decks, or even M HERO hybrids. Miracle fusion into this is the best way to get it out
玄魔の王
So Light and Darkness Dragon was reincarnated as a HERO. At present he's not great, but I'll reserve judgment Until Kamikaze and Koga are soied.
Alastar Rainford
Manga wise this is probably Judai's ace in sleeve against Core
Azuh
Its cool how its like LaDD in HERO form. But I just don't know how Masked HEROs work within the already good HERO engine. Too many plays, not enough space
Alastar Rainford
True Xtra Deck wise it is cramped as crap. Koga and Kamikaze are not going to help with that.
evilfusion
Interesting. So it's a Fusion of 2 Masked HEROs, but it's also an Elemental HERO card, letting you Summon it with Miracle Fusion. 3000 ATK is nice, plus having a Quick Effect to negate any face-up card for the turn. Counting as both Light and Dark feels like it could screw itself over, what with Super Poly existing, and Shaddolls being evil.
Alastar Rainford
I would love to see Shadolls vs HERO in a fusion battle when they reveal earth, wind, and water. Such super poly much madness.side note: Zero x1-2 Gaia x1 Shining x1-2 Core x1 Chaos x1 Goka x0-1 Koga x0-2 Kamekazi x0-1 Tornado x0-1 Mist x1-2 Fire EHero x0-1 Dark EHero x1-2 Rest of space for xyz... heraldry_lord
I'm not even sure if there's space for Xyz anymore. From a theme perspective, that's a good thing.

Pchi
I like this. I'd run it @1 (in a casual Deck, at least). In mid-to-late game, it can be devastating, especially if your opponent doesn't many resources available at the moment. If it was a floater, of course, than it'd be truly amazing. Bringerofcake
Meh, I'd tech one. You're running Miracle Fusion anyway, so why not?
Pchi
Meh, I'd tech one. You're running Miracle Fusion anyway, so why not? Tight Extra Deck space. And limited access to Miracle Fusion.
D.A._Sakuyamon
Hmm, can this stop normal spells & traps if it chains to them? Seems pretty good even if that's not the case outside of it's summoning cost anyways.
Lonk
Oh look, you can negate even Spells and Traps with this card! Good thing you can use Miracle Fusion for it. When I read the materials, I almost thought that it said '2 "Vision HEROs"' and I would have just said junk.
heraldry_lord
When I read the materials, I almost thought that it said '2 "Vision HEROs"' and I would have just said junk. Considering the Vision HEROs are all DARK and were used by Aster/Ed, this is a Chaos monster of sorts, and "Masked" and "Vision" are two entirely different words, I find this to be an interesting mix-up. In any case, I'd have been wondering what Konami was smoking, since this Structure Deck hasn't hinted to any Vision HERO support.
Philemon
Well I was partially right, it is also a LIGHT monster, but I would have assumed a Light HERO + a Dark HERO as the fusion materials. Hopefully they'll get around to releasing the Main Deck M-HERO's and giving them effects (like they did for the manga's Ocean, Woodsman, and Shadow Mist). Dr. Cakey
Hmm, can this stop normal spells & traps if it chains to them? Seems pretty good even if that's not the case outside of it's summoning cost anyways. If it can (and I'm not sure, my YGO Fu is a bit rusty), then this card is great, no question. That's close to Quasar-level negation ability.
