Astro Dude
I am sick of Youtube changing stuff on us without telling us. First they change the size of the player now they get rid of the video manager. I'm sick of this. Hey guys in charge of youtube. If you're reading this, REVERT YOUR CHANGES NOW! Just Crouton
YouTubers freak out all the time when changes are made, and honestly, these changes weren't that bad. They don't have to tell us what changes they're making because it's their site, especially when it's a change that's too insignificant to be called a "First World Problem," and we aren't paying for it's services. And, the video manager isn't gone. You can access it through your channel page.
Astro Dude
And the player itself?
Just Crouton
And the player itself? Uh, I'll let the you from 11:25 PM answer that. First they change the size of the player
Cin
The only issue I had was when they changed the messages because so much spam got through that some people I watched just turned them off.
LordCowCowCowCowCowCowCowCow
It never bothered me for more than a day or two when they change things. It's a free service and I get entertainment out of it.
Cin
Although for the uploaders after seeing NerdCubed's rant, I can understand why the makers of videos feel so annoyed. I was surprised that the Yogscast even decided to pick up the new Mario Kart because of the small amount of revenue brought into the Yogscast Ltd. because of Nintendo's restrictive policy (In the end only YogscastMartyn and YogscastKim covered the game even then it was only Vs, Battle and the cups with only one video for Mirror) so it might not have been as worthwhile in terms of wages/running costs for them. You're forgetting basically the people who have given up jobs to work for Youtube video creation, we don't see any of the changes really as viewers. It's more of the ad changes that are the problem and the ID matches so your complaints are minor (granted NerdCubed has just complained on Twitter about the video manager)
J-Max
My only problem with the Youtube Changes was mandatory Google Plus just to commentate on Videos. The whole Copyright thing didn't affect me that much.
Flash Flyer - Sakura
I hate Google Plus stuff as well on Youtube. Seriously, do I really have to get another Facebook-esque thing just to compliment a video? No, that shouldn't be mandatory (Luckily, Google Plus isn't still restricted to 21+ otherwise about more than half of the current users would stop using YT) Then again, they also have the tendency to remove a ton of videos (which is probably due to Japanese companies filing infringement claims, even though uploader said it's not for profit). The enlarged screen isn't really of a problem; makes it easier to see the aforementioned videos (it is a bit weird, but nothing bad enough that I'd ditch YT completely). It is one of the only places I can watch subbed anime without having to wait for a 2 minute commercial to finish and let me watch TV (at least I can cut it short or if I can't, it's about 15 sec). LordCowCowCowCowCowCowCowCow
I suppose if I made videos it would make more of a difference for me. I feel bad for Youtubers, I know several had some big issues because of changes. But only speaking for my experience it hasn't changed much. Astro Dude
The major issue here is youtube pops these changes out of nowhere without telling any of its users. First they change the player size which people are complaining about. Do any of you want a large screen? No. We liked it the way it was so that's why I'm ranting that they change it back. And Youtube guys, if you're reading this: Next time tell us ahead of time when you're gonna change something!
Tormented
The changes this time are f***ing brilliant, no idea what you are crying about, also very few websites let people know about upcoming updates on their main site, it makes things cluttered and annoying. Many have blog sites to let their uses know.

mitchermitcher
Actually, this video size change is one of the best changes they've made in a while, and the rest you kinda get used to it sooner or later. Also m8, complaining here won't do anything, no one important browses this site. Probably.
Tormented
60 Fps videos are a godsend for the new youtube.
J-Max
60 Fps videos are a godsend for the new youtube. Wait wait wait..... Youtube can do 60 FPS now? I always thought that Flash Video was limitted to 30 Frames due to limitations of the Format. HTML 5 can supposedly do it with ease though. Akira
>web designers need a job >desperately come up with ways to make the website look different >convince higher-ups that changes are superior even though they actually make everything worse >rinse and repeat That is way Youtube and Facebook keep getting progressively worse. Cin
Bigger size doesn't bother me. Only problem I actually have is Youtube TV on my tv quite often throws tantrums when I try to watch something. So I get buffering.
Greiga
As someone who barely uploads videos, the uploader over the years hasn't bothered me much at all. Big size is actually really cool considering going full screen when I have dual monitors makes my laptop have a heart attack, plus I always made the player bigger anyway. My only problem with Google+ was that it made a duplicate youtube account (so when I log in I see GreigaBeastDS twice) but other than that it's really not terrible if you already had one. I can understand not wanting to register for a site you'll never use though.
