It's been stated over and over again that Qliphort IS the OCG name, and Qliphoth was a mistranslation based on Tool's flavor text. The OCG is s*** and you should feel s*** for liking it at all. It's not stupid at all. By your logic, Shaddolls should be called Shaddais. The "r" is not random, it is intended by the use of a double vowel mark. Qliphoth is the name of the program, Qliphorts are the result of said program running. If it had originally been translated properly, instead of mistranslated by translators who are lazy, assuming and massive weeaboos, you probably wouldn't be so up in arms about this for lack of knowing any better. I get eliminating the religious references, but with the flavor elimination and little effort into thinking of something better, this card and Midrash will be placed inbetween Performapals and Hot Red Dragon Archfiend as the worst TCG name changes.
