Spinny
[attachment=42407:IfYoureHappyAndYouKnowIt.jpg] Ok IMO, These guys are too un-balanced even for konami, they require no setup, break combo's,break pend-scales/backrow and monsters and combined with a couple of traps they wipe the field. They piss me off Other peoples Thoughts?
JadenxAtemYAOI
You must love facing HATs. I like them where they are really.
Spinny
but hands r so unbalanced....
J-Max
Banishing is always a decent counter to the hands. Although most Decks don't really run Banishing as much as they need too.
Blake
Not really. They require you to think ahead and outplay them. They require setup in the fork of ramming them/opp playing into them. Sure putting them to 2 each makes more sense in game design, but you are seriously overreacting to reactive cards. Spinny
@ sunbeams,But you shouldnt have to side against 2 flipping cards.... it just proves how broke they r @Black, thats a crap tonne of nonsense, how do u out-smart a card? I use silent honor Arks eff! Oh w8 i forgot that i cant use it in your turn? And not every deck can make Pleiades btw
JadenxAtemYAOI
They're not flip effects and relatively easy to play around. You're overreacting.
Spinny
Book of moon is limited, With things like BTH and solemn warning how do i use castel against them? yes i agree they r easy to play around that way, But honestly dont think that they r un-protectable with all the staple traps we have >.>
Love of Ghibli
The only true problem with hands is that...like real hands everyone has them. I was going against some stellarknights and I thought I was finally reclaiming advantage with Hyperion. Never suspected that a hand was lurking and waiting for me. However once you know they're coming they aren't that much of a threat.

By predicting effectively you can setup the proper counterattack.
J-Max
I will say it again. Banishing is the perfect counter to hands. They have to hit the Grave to trigger their effects, so Banish just one of the hands and your opponent will more then likely struggle to get more of them. BTH is a must in most Decks anyway and some Decks thrive on Banishing anyway. (Necroface.dek is a great example of this)
Expelsword
This guy is way overstating the impact of Hands. I'd be more concerned about the Artifact part.

Spinny
I dont think that the artifacts miniscule destruction and Pleiades summoning is the problem here, I summon Pleiades,I activate almost any staple! so many staples to choose from.... AGATHODAIMON BANGTAIL COW
You don't use your Castel on these, you use #50. Lance stops BTH, Wiretap stops BTH and Warning. Trap Stun stops them both too (but you can't chain to Warning obvs). The game is starting to progress to a state where you will need nondestruction removal, like how you need to remove cards with effects now. It's like how Marshmallon was back when it came out. It was limited because players lived and breathed battle destruction back then, and now it's relatively harmless. The same could be said with Beelze, though we don't have THAT much nondestruction removal running around in the game. Also holy sh*t you jalapenos I had to refresh this page like six times because of new posts.
Spinny
hmm you guys seem to be just stressing the fact u can out-xyz summon them. as Bloo said, my problem is that not alot of archetypes can do non-destruction removal. However i do think there will be more in the future. Its just that at the moment they r so ridiculous.
JadenxAtemYAOI
They're not ridiculous in terms of power. In terms of usage? I'd agree with that. Out-XYZ the opponent and ram over them? So waste your resources when Abyss Dweller and Torrential/Dark Hole do the job.
Spinny
torrential and dark doesnt do the job? they still get to summon after usage?? i did mean that they were powerful in usage b4 btw. when i said Out-xyz i meant summon things like u said to break them. JadenxAtemYAOI
Abyss Dweller negates their effects because they activate in the graveyard. Abyss Dweller doesn't need to be on the field for its effect to still be in effect.
Spinny
Well done for pointing out the obvious? I meant torrential and dark hole >.>
Trebuchet MS
By the way, if they have nothing to destroy, or if their effect loses its target, they can't recruit the other hand.
JadenxAtemYAOI
Meaning their effects don't get triggered by Dark Hole and Torrential. By the way, if they have nothing to destroy, or if their effect loses its target, they can't recruit the other hand. This right here
AGATHODAIMON BANGTAIL COW
Well, against Hole/TT, Fire Hand doesn't go off (unless something survives, in which case it's probably immune to Fire Hand too). With several Decks that aren't backrow-heavy, it's easy to disable Ice Hand.
Blake
I find the "but they can solemn my Xyz" argument hilarious, because the same argument applies to the hands.
JadenxAtemYAOI
Don't Shadolls have a fusion that is unaffected by Fire Hand anyway? I know a Battlin Boxer XYZ actually gets stronger from being almost hit.
