Trebuchet MS Posted September 10, 2014 Report Share Posted September 10, 2014 In Standard, it sees little use against an aggro matchup. Nicely hits midrange and control wincons though. Would see some sideboard use. In Limited, the abundance of morph encourages people to actually play their morphing bombs as the face-down morphs to dodge this card. Akin to Pillar of Light in M15, this card is great in constructed, but the things it can hit in Limited are a little slim. In EDH, it will wreck all the game-ending major plays along with hitting a majority of attempts to cast a Commander. Suddenly trying to make a move while someone's got 2 untapped blue is a bit more intimidating. I presume the average curve for Modern and Vintage is a fair bit lower and thus this card won't have much of an impact. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

(Except when I'm using the one in my friend's Proshh Graveyard after her had Proshhfoodchained for like a millon Tokens and as an added bonus wipped both his field and a 15/15 Uril and 17/17 Omnath.
