goddamnit names are a pain
Ugh, I hate where this game is going. To be honest this game was always heading to shitville. We're just heading there a lot faster now. With a Tourguide from hell and plenty of demon spawn. And then some robots that operate off of shiny rocks and are controlled by a mysterious puppeteer? It makes card making and casual dueling extremely difficult. o.o

You see, Lightsworns are just stupid in that regard. Powercreep is things like Dolls. Which actually do s*** in the grave, and still mill the crap out of your deck. When did I say anything about the last deck I played? o.o TBH, I hate Konami pushing the meta down people's throats and discouraging rogue decks. Some my argue the lack of rogue decks is a good thing, though I tend to see it as a lack of creativity and diversity. Call me old fashioned and out of touch, but that's how I personally see it. Also, I am seeing a problem here. I've been told that card design and balance should be the main focus of cards, yet I keep seeing that impact is being used as justification for bringing cards like Raigeki back. Where does balance give into impact and vice versa? Or in this context, should a broken card by principle be able to return if it is underwhelming in impact? Probably phrased the question badly, but I hope the point goes through.

goddamnit names are a pain
Rogue decks are, in a way, encouraging match ups, which take an extremely low amount of skill. Rogue decks, if I understand correctly, are things that either hit a wide range of decks, like Stun, things that just slip by occasionally, like…I dunno, Burn(?), or just slip by because they happen to have an ok matchup against of the actual top decks, if that makes sense. Basically, encouraging more decks to slip by is kind of bad, because diverse formats are all about match ups rather than actual skill.

I cited LS because I keep seeing people running really, really shitty variants of them, the purpose of which appears to literally be just to mill your deck. Not do anything, but just mill your good cards. I'm personally against Kuribandit, Necrogardna, and Needlebug Nest in the deck, but that may just be me. It looks stupid as fuck though, as if your deck didn't mill enough. Also citing LS because they literally never use half of their graveyard again. I must be a rogue among rogues then, since I played Geminis on DN and won 20-0 using Lancphorynchus's piercing and nothing else.

That's fairly new, though. And plays fairly well. It's vanilla so it's limited in what it can do, but... …also, DN users are idiots at times. I beat someone else's version just fine…the deck being based around normals is cool but they don't do anything special, really... Also how does you appearing to stroke your own ego relate to my attempt at a realistic standpoint on the game in any way?

It looks stupid as f*** though, as if your deck didn't mill enough. Also citing LS because they literally never use half of their graveyard again. Actually, there's time when you don't mill enough, and Needlebug is there to fix that. Especially on the LS ruler variants at one point, where they need to get to that Eclipse Wyvern fast. Necrogardna's just so you don't get -that- much damage taken, but iirc it has been shafted aside by other options. But basically, LS decks do need to dig really deep at times, especially the ones that aim to finish the game ASAP.
goddamnit names are a pain
Would it not be better to do it all during your turn instead of relying on cards like Kuribandit and Needlebug? That's taking up entire turns just to mill. Maybe I just get extra wacky with Sacksworns, but I have never needed Needle or Kuri to get the job done. And I don't hit any real issues with milling, either. I mean, I haven't fought against Dolls with them, but I think I fought other things with LS. Miror B
Fixed. Anyway, wasn't CED banned before BLS? We saw topdeck-ville with BLS in the first couple of formats since its return, but now I haven't heard much of it. CED would do far more damage than that IMO. Ugh, I hate where this game is going. Not that kinda topdeck, the kind of topdeck where CED just blew up both hands and fields and now it's just draw a card and hope it isn't Dark Magician or something. Slinky
If CED ever comes back, chances are, cards that nullify effect damage are going to be a lot more prominent. And Psychics will actually have a reason to run Lifeforce Harmonizer (though its generic as shit, Psychics can just search it)

Nathanael D. Striker
YAY now time to start killing s*** (hopes dark hole will go to 2 soon) It's terrible design wise and near pathetic impact wise. I still don't want this around inspite of the lack of impact it will have solely based on principle.
goddamnit names are a pain
YAY now time to start killing s*** (hopes dark hole will go to 2 soon) I hope so too, so more people like you can waste viable deck space on subpar cards. Why on earth would you have a need to run 2 and Raigeki in a gamestate where mass destruction means nothing? Unless you YangZing, but even then, no.
