Maeriberii Haan
Discard 1 card, then target 1 card your opponent controls; place that target on the top of the Deck. Amazing right now in BA, do you think this will get even more important outside of it post-NECH or not? DIscuss this card whose effectiveness always dependent on the format. Atypical-Abbie
Well, Infernoid could discard a monster, then banish that monster right away to Summon something, so that's a thing. Hermit Youkai and Spirit Beast don't seem to benfit from this, Necloth kind of, but they have better cards, so not really needed. Maybe we'll see something else in SECE that could use this. Expelsword
I like Raigeki Break better because it's a more permanent solution to Continuous cards that may be singlehandedly murdering your deck. But this definitely has it's moments. Spinning something like a Supply Unit is pretty sweet.
Goose
Better than Raigeki Break against like half of the Xyz, Midrash/all Shadoll fusions, any Pendulum, and so forth.
Slinky
I like Raigeki Break better because it's a more permanent solution to Continuous cards that may be singlehandedly murdering your deck. But this definitely has it's moments. Spinning something like a Supply Unit is pretty sweet. PWWB is superior in most situations BECAUSE it doesn't destroy. Therefore it bypasses a lot of immunities as well as screwing over your opponent's next draw. That said, both are still viable options, but you should never be running both, and the niche for Raigeki Break is moderately smaller than PWWB. TheTurtleOnceCalledGod
Discarding is not a cost, it is a trigger to bring about many combos. Especially with Burning Abyss being like half the meta at the moment.

Especially with Burning Abyss being like half the meta at the moment. Officially speaking it is a cost, but we all know what the word "cost" is in Yugioh. It usually means "benefit off of it instead of really investing in a play, or else it's not good enough" ...Yes it is. That's not quite what he meant... I think. Toffee.
Yes it-Except if it's Burning Abyss, in which case, they don't give a shit how they are sent to the Graveyard as long as they are.
