I disagree with the above post. It is actually a very weak card.

2100 ATK is low considering its effect is just support that doesn't even tie its materials together in a decent strategy (it neglects Silver Fang's side), and that it is a Polymerization-needing Fusion A.K.A. a -2. Nowadays 2100 ATK can be literally Normal Summoned on the table.

However, if your intention was to make a Fusion more for Yugi's time, which sits more or less at the level of power as Chimera the Flying Mythical Beast, then it is fine and you succeeded. 2100 ATK for a Fusion was solid enough back in 2002, as long as its materials weren't too taxing, and this card's Mystical Elf was a good 2000 DEF wall back in the day. Especially when the Fusion is also a 2800 DEF wall, which I look at as something similar to Chimera's "revive a material when it dies" in terms of defensive, and arguably more useful at times.

In conclusion, the card is ok if you intended it for Yugi's good old days, and I even like the flavor a lot, but the card wouldn't cut it nowadays.

Regardless though, you DEFINITELY don't need to weaken it one bit. If anything, change the "Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower Spellcaster from hand" effect for something better. Though its not terribly necessary depending on your goal.

When I actually do think about it, I do create cards for Yugi's time a lot of the time. I guess it's because the only 2 series of YGO I've been keeping up with are the original series and Arc V.

That is interesting because their styles of playing and their power level, and even their universe, make it look like its downright 2 different games xD

On one side you can see Yugi start a duel with Alpha the Magnet Warrior in Attack Position and maybe a face-down.
On the other you see Yuya getting mass Special Summon with a 2500 ATK boss that increases damage and little wall monsters that help it hit even harder every turn.

Just out of curiosity, how do you feel about both of them? I mean that's a huge jump. I've gone through all generations so I've had a slow transition over the past decade or so....

Well, when I joined this site I already knew that Xyz monsters were a thing, but I had no idea how they worked and I didn't even know Synchros existed. So I eventually learnt about the new cards (Old cards, but new to me), then I started watching Arc V. Right off the bat, Action Duel! Um... what? But now I've gotten use to everything (Pendulums are very powerful). It's all very, very different, but I like it. Any of my dad's original series decks would be crushed by all of this stuff. I'm also starting to read the 5Ds Manga, and I'm confused by all the "sense" stuff, but Turbo Duels are an interesting idea.
