Once per turn: You can target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; destroy that opponent's monster, and if you do, inflict damage to your opponent equal to the destroyed monster's ATK.

3 Frightfur monsters.

When this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle and sends it to the Graveyard: You can Special Summon that monster to your side field. This card gains 300 ATK for each monster you control that was Special Summoned by this effect.

Saw is currently the most powerful Edge Imp, due to that insane draw ability. At least Wheel Saw Leo's effect makes it actually worth using Leo now, though, Saw won't be used much except for draw power, since there's currently only 1 Saw Fusion.

I wonder if these two mean there'll be less Scissor support, and more starting support for the Chain and Saw varieties. As a side note, it seems Frightfurs made from Chain are lv 5, those made from Scissor are lv 6, and the ones made from Chain are lv 7.

Chimera's pretty meh for the effort needed to summon it.

I actually find it quite good, since you now don't have to rely on getting Edge Imps in your hand to get something worthwile on board, having 2800 ATK is also very good, since they have lacked raw power for a while now, and it gets boosted by itself and Tiger. Also remember that they have Graveyard effects that you can trigger, so you don't lose THAT much by Fusion Summoning it.

Never mind, didn't see it was Frightfur monsers.

True, but then you'd have to add substitutes to your Deck, which might hurt the consistency, rather than help it.

Actually, King of the Swamp is a great card for them, since it can also grab Polymerization if you need to, it's Level 3, so you can make Rank 3s with it and Sabres, and of course.

Another option is "Versago the Destroyer". (S)he is a Level 3 DARK Fiend-Type monster; any generic support for the "Edge Imps" also works for him.

Only thing that is relevant is probably Tour Guide, though Edge Imp is probably better to get out, and since it negates the effects, you can't actually use it with it, and it lacks the poly grab. I prefer Swamp in this case.

You also have "Scarm, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss"; he can fetch "Versago the Destroyer". That card can then be used as a substitute for any of the (specifically defined) Fusion Materials. But yeah, "King of the Swamp" is also a nice card to use in a Fusion Summon reliant deck.
