Hellfire Boatwatcher, Ghost Charon

If your opponent controls a monster, and you control no other monsters: You can target 1 Fusion Monster in your Graveyard; banish both that target and this card, and if you do, Special Summon 1 Dragon-Type Synchro Monster from yourExtra Deck whose Level equals the total Levels of the banished monsters. You cannot Special Summon during the turn you activate this effect, except Dragon-Type monsters. You can only use this effect of "Hellfire Boatwatcher, Ghost Charon" once per turn."

So it pretty much says use Dragonnecro but I'm sure there are other cool plays you could do with this

You can use El Shaddoll Construct + this to bring out Dragocytus or Beelzeus in a gimmicky Dragon Synchro Shaddoll build.

Is it treated as a Synchro Summon? If so, let the Trident Dragion OTKs revive

No its not a proper synchro summon
No its not a proper synchro summon

Well that takes out a few things. But really, no need to troll here :P

Ridiculously gimmicky, but this actually works in Shaddolls to bring out things like Red Nova, etc. Tbh, that's pretty much the only thing this card has going for it.

That would actually be hilarious to see in a feature match. Gimmicky, but still would be worth it

If you make Quasar out of this, it won't be able to attack.

Though you get a Solemn with a 4000 body for one card and another dead one so that's cool I guess.

Actually there's a ruling that Quasar can still make an attack, even if he's Summoned with no Synchro Materials (such as when he's Flip Summoned after being flipped face-down).

Also, this can't Summon Quasar, because it's not a Synchro Summon.

See, no one tells me these things. Thank you a lot for clearing that up.

And I actually forgot about that condition.

No problem.  Here's the specific ruling:

After Synchro Summoning "Shooting Quasar Dragon", if it's flipped face-down by the effect of "Book of Moon", and then flipped face-up once again, it can only attack once per turn.

How I interpret this is that if Quasar is not Synchro Summoned, the maximum attacks effect won't apply, since it can't due to Quasar not being a Synchro Summoned monster. This means that hypothetically, if Quasar were to be Special Summoned without Synchro Materials, and that Summon was treated as a Synchro Summon, it wouldn't be able to attack at all in that situation, since its maximum number of attacks would be zero.

In any event, something would have been wrong if they allowed you to Summon Quasar so easily, as that would mean Shaddolls would potentially have access to him, thanks to Shekhinaga.
