ITT: Dian Keto the Cure Master

Recommended Posts

If the alt. eff were to take place, it's as if your deck is expected to be so bad at defending that you'd wind up relying on staying alive through mere LP than actual tactic. Even so, doesn't make much of a difference most of the time since you're gonna have to topdeck this right before Cowboy shoots you point blank and K.Os you. Bottom line: It's still bad and mediocre that people will still not make use of.

There are many issues with that idea.

When it comes to LP gain, focusing only on that typically means that you either gain enough LP that your opponent to be unable to ever deplete them all, or you fail miserably.

If it is heal burn then it means your whole deck backfires when you don't have the key card(s) needed, and tries to OTK otherwise.

If it is burn through LP gain of your own (like with Fire Princess), it typically enforces just sitting behind stall.

LP gain under those is also too linear... but enough about design.

This would have to change that last 4000 for 8000 to really be viable. Having under 4000 is already the danger zone and a couple direct attacks after an easy field clearance can just do it. Sure 4000 sounds like a big number, but half the time you'd be in the danger zone with 2500 or less LP, to gain on average between 1000 to 2000 at most, making this a very situational Dian Ketto with not much better results. Besides, the decks that try to OTK are made to try to go over the 8000 mark.

This card would need to be a Quick Play and even then it'd be outclassed by Nutrient Z.

Another question here is, would it be an issue if it changed the last 4000 for a bigger mark? and how big would it be alright? 8000 sounds like a bad idea, but 4000 to be honest sounds crappy, maybe 6000?
