Fusion Conscription

You can only activate 1 “Fusion Conscription” per turn. Reveal 1 Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck to your opponent; add 1 Fusion Material Monster whose card name is written on that card and add it from your Deck or Graveyard to your hand, but you cannot Normal or Special Summon NOR activate the effects of that monster or a monster with the same name, for the rest of this turn.

This card has a lot of potential. I'd like this concept to be expanded more in the future. Basically from now on, if you want any key monster from any deck to be searchable, instead of a new RotA, Whirlwind, or Tenki, they just need to make a Fusion with it as a specific material listed.

 

That said, currently there's obvious Cyber Dragon, Elemental HERO cards (mostly the anime ones though), Fluffals, and Odd-Eyes.

More casual uses include Ancient Gear Golem, BLS (the Ritual). Mostly though it'll be wherever you can afford to wait or fuse it immediately.

Wait, so it doesn't have to add a Fusion Material, but any monster listed in its card text? Are there any Fusion Monsters that name a main deck monster other than for Fusion Materials? 

 

Card has some neat utility, especially since it seems to imply you can still activate a Pendulum Monster you search this way.

 

Oh no I can't summon edge imp scissor or edge imp chain or edge imp saw or use their effects

Poor Bear, though. Neat support card.

 

Actually, it does kinda suck with Chain, since you can't search when using it as a Fusion Material.

It stops you from playing Blue-eyes the entire turn-

but you cannot Normal or Special Summon NOR activate the effects of that monster or a monster with the same name, for the rest of this turn.


If you play this card early, sure, you can't do anything with the monster for the whole turn.
If you play it later on, you could at least do stuff with it earlier in the turn.
