Blake
Chaofeng, Illusion of the Yang ZingLIGHT/WyrmLevel 92800/22001 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters(1) If this card was Synchro Summoned, your opponent cannot activate monster effects of monsters whose Attribute matches the Attribute of a “Yang Zing” monster used as a Synchro Material used to Synchro Summon this card.(2) When this card that was Synchro Summoned is destroyed (either by battle or by a card effect) and sent to the Graveyard: Add 1 Tuner monster from your Deck to your hand.(3) Once per turn, when an opponent’s monster is destroyed by battle or by a card effect: Special Summon 1 Wyrm-Type monster with the same Original Attribute as that destroyed monster from your Deck in face-up Defense Position. It's supposed to be Chiwen's successor, if the name is any indicator.
Slinky
That third effect seems very random, yet synergizes extremely well with the deck.
Maeriberii Haan
Definitely better than Giganticasshole, though not being able to stop Scout's effect from fuxi-qiu is a pain. Third effect is neat tho.

玄魔の王
So if you can make this with Jiaotu, Suanni, Pulao and Bixi, you have a 3300 beater that's immune to Spells and Traps, and also stops FIRE, DARK, WIND and WATER monsters from using their effects. Using the two Pendulums, you stop Qli from activating. This is the boss Yang Zing deserved, AND the one they need.

Premier Alexander Romanov
I, for one, welcome our new Wyrm-Type overlords. Seriously, this card is amazing, and is just what the Yang Zing needed: a boss that can easily make more monsters.

iCherries
We could've made this 12 for Bian, Konami! 10 or 11 would've been great too! This thing is gorgeous and I'm glad but the level really bugs the hell out of me.Not a fan of it not being the golden chinese dragon either. heuler012
The only downside to chaofeng is the matieral needed depending on tier. a quick one with jia+ tao+bixi makes a good stall against Shaddolls or BA´s, but seeing how much faster theier engine works and how dependive zings are on destruction+ graving it´s still a tight spot. I dunno how good the new pendelum zings will work ,or alrdy do, (can´t fit them into my builds) in the future, but only the earth one with the tuner eff dosen´t seem to be a minus in the main deck, but due to giving no material eff I still wouldn´t main deck it. The lv 6 seems kinda interesting with the spell/trap search for crea. I could see them becoming more relevant in the future with support through new spells/traps, increasing the engine speed for a chaofeng with +4 or more material and maybe Zings will become one of the first archtypes with pendelum and synchro engine. Sir Yamiegg
You can make it with just Jiaotu, which makes me happy. But it won't have 3.3k ATK. I feel like Yang Zing don't go plus enough, which is the main thing keeping them back from the meta, not the pace (if they could go plus more Jiaotu would become all the pace they need). Also they can't recover from losing key Synchros except with Path, which isn't consistent anyway.

Also they can't recover from losing key Synchros except with Path, which isn't consistent anyway. The main problem with Jiaotu is that it requieres u to send zings from hand and if u don´t manage that fast enough u ´re done. Ultimatly the Attack boost is irrlevant as long as u don´t face qlips, since matches are just decided by effects nowdays. The most relevant point that keeps zings out of tier 1 is that theier engine is far to dependive on destruction and graving thus making theier pace rather slow compared to Shad ect.. Jia is nowhere near to be enough speed for theier engine and unless they get newer support in form of spells/traps ect. they are done for. Not really, recovering from loosing one baxia or yazi isn´t such a big deal for them. ... Yes it is? Qiuniu makes it consistent. In fact, Jiaotu can now search Path 'on his own'. Qiuniu makes nothing consistant at all. Currently it´s just a fact that the pendelum monsters make zings far more inconsistant cause they lack the key effects of searching out zings and also have no effs to get more zings to the hand, thus making effective pendelum summons nearly impossible. I agree that Qiuniu´s eff of searching out path ect. is neat in combination with a jia summoned yazi or baxia and it´s lv could make for easier chaofeng summons, but currently neither Qiuniu or Fuxi are worth a run in the main deck cause they need better support to work out and lack the characteristic destruction effs. iCherries
I'm not seeing why Qiuniu doesn't warrant a spot in maining when it searches their Avarice or Creation after Baxia pops it for a revive or Yazi pops it for a kill. Or just the fact that Penduluming it does so. I don't care for Fuxi's effect myself, but as long as I have scales up, I can just keep getting Path. Then Avarice all three Paths and move on. heuler012
do you actually know how to play yang zing I believe so, but u are welcome to prove me wrong, with valid facts instead of sarcasam, since I still think that a normal zing deck is far more consistant than one with Zefra´s. Maeriberii Haan
heuler012, please do -not- necrobump in this site. Thread's been more than one-month old. You know, it's sad to see Yang Zings still being pretty underwhelming in the meta despite the initial hype due to being way too passive outside of Jiaotu. Maybe next time, but for now, I'll lock this since it's a necrobuuuuuuump!
