Maeriberii Haan
Pushing for a purer Atlantean builds, huh? Looks pretty neat tbh. Would want to see the rest of the support before dropping the final judgment on this. Also, it's a bishie, yay!
Atypical-Abbie
I wonder how Atlanteans actually would play in their own Deck. Might be worth trying out now with this coming out.

Okay, I'm done, but what the hell are they thinking? It not only gets to trigger any Atlantean it effing likes from the bloody deck, but it also gets to search whatever Atlantean you want? The hell is that?! Atlanteans were bad enough in Mermails, don't make it even easier to activate such stupidly easy to pull off effects.

The Warden
Atlanteans are NOT alright without Mermails because Atlanteans were never alright to begin with. He says deck, his cost lets you send from the god damn deck! Doesn't matter what's in your hand when you get to choose which effect you want to set off without thinking about it. Maeriberii Haan
...The amount you are flipping the fuck out is getting a bit concerning... tbf this is something that foolishes as a cost to RotA and easily searchable and the foolish triggers the effect of what you send and is also a Reborn. evilfusion
...good god. So it mills as a cost...and Atlanteans activate when you send them as costs...and then it searches any Atlantean. That sounds fair. And if it's sent as a cost, you SS any Atlantean. Cool. I like it, if only because Atlanteans without Mermails weren't nearly as synergetic.
Toffee.
Personally, I love how it makes Call of the Atlanteans instantly live, since this card can search cards
evil cucumber
Cards like this make me think Konami ran out of ideas. srriosly, for mermails now, deck means a second hand. At least they had enough brain to not make this a level 4 or 3, to avoid xyz's using this. The second eff will make you use dragoons a lot of times..so more and more searches. I think at least now Lemuria may have some good plays with this
Blake
Is it just me, or does our broken friend here look like Shark/Nasch in the face?
Darj
Card is crazy, but I guess it takes things like this nowadays for an archetype to even attempt to stand out in the current metagame. It's funny how this card basically replaces and outclasses Undine's role in the deck. Does its Level1 have any interesting applications in the archetype? I can only think of making Clausolas after searching it with Diva, and 1-for-1 support. But it looks like there isn't any Xyz potential since Altanteans don't have other Level1s. Toffee.
Obligatory pro move:Play One for One to ditch the in-hand Posiedra to Special This card.Use This card's effect to mill Dragoons to search Call.Dragoons searches Diva.Normal Diva to grab an Atlantean of your choosingSend Diva, This, and your bonus Atlantean to revive Posiedra. This card's other effect revives Dragoons or some shit. Then do other things with the effect of the other Atlantean you sent. And you can do it all again later because you still have Call of the AtlanteansAnd all you had to do was topdeck One for One with Posiedra in-hand- YAY FOR INCONSISTENT MOVES THAT EVERYONE WILL LOVE! Is it just me, or does our broken friend here look like Shark/Nasch in the face?Probably on purpose.Much like how it has the Blue Orb in it's chest
Blake
Setup: Diva/Neptabyss and 1 other WATER NS Diva or Neptabyss (henceforth nasch) Use Nasch, send Dragoons, get an atlantean Dragoons, get Megalo Megalo, discard Atlantean + Water Use effects and Megalo searches Megalo sacks Nasch, gets back Dragoons, swings for 6600 and that's just 2 cards, leaving 4 other cards to use for turn 1. Toffee.
Lets say you already control This card. You Normal Summon Diva and grab Tridon.Tridon Tributes itself and This to Summon Posiedra. This card's effect revived Tridon.Tridon Tributes itself and Diva for your 2nd Posiedra.Your Opponent's monsters are -600 ATK short.Scrubby/10'Course, I'm only thinking in terms of Atlanteans. heraldry_lord
Everything essential about this card has been said, so I'll ask this: Why is it a Sea Serpent instead of a Warrior or Aqua? Also, why is it an Atlantean (gameplay aside)? Did they always have human-looking guys in their ranks?
Toffee.
Why is it a Sea Serpent-Atlanteans are a Sea Serpent-master raceDid they always have human-looking guys in their ranks?Your forgetting about this big dream boat <
heraldry_lord
Atlanteans are a Sea Serpent-master race I know, but he looks nothing like a Sea Serpent. Your forgetting about this big dream boat <3 I haven't forgotten about Abyssgaios; it's hard to forget about a guy that was a good Xyz drop in Dragon Rulers and his own deck, and that's the thing: he was neither an Atlantean nor a Sea Serpent.
