Yokodori Bone / Snatched Bone
Continuous Trap Card
(1) Activate this card by targeting 1 monster in your opponent’s Graveyard during a turn that your opponent Special Summoned a monster: Special Summon it to your side of the field in Defense Position. When this card leaves the field banish that monster. When that monster leaves the field destroy this card.

Looks cute tbh.

And I'm sure your opponent Special Summoning that turn is going to be a rare occurrence.

Actually it doesn't matter what turn you use it on, just so long as your Opponent does any kind of Special Summon in the same turn.
So like, if they Shaddoll Fusion or whatever and use Falco as one of the Materials, you could be pro and flip this and steal said Falco ahead of time, which would utterly fuck up said Falco.
Bonus points for this card Banishing the Summoned monster, on the off chance they MST'd this card or something(while it was face-up).

This card does nothing.

It looks like it's supposed to stop your opponent's monster recovery by stealing the target, but "your opponent Special Summoned a monster" is too conditional, since it means your opponent has a monster to run over.

You can use it to start your own engine, but your opponent would already have momentum at that point.

Overall a pointless card.

not really, it can remove options from the opponents grave after they summon even one monster, and it can chain to grave based plays, potentially interrupting large pushes for game midway through.

This only removes the option temporarily until the Defense Position monster dies again. Even if it's an El Shaddoll Construct or something that can't be run over, they have the rest of their turn to break the Continuous Trap and banish the monster.

Even if your opponent is playing Dark Worlds and Special Summons before reviving their Grapha, wouldn't it be better to use The Transmigration Prophecy or D.D. Crow or something less conditional that can't be stopped by MST?

as for your first point, I agree, it's only temporary most of the time, but against decks that spam summons from/ target monsters in grave, it can halt plays hard.

as for your second point, I agree 100% transmigration and d.d. crow are better cards due to versatility. but I can also see this card having a minor side deck niche in some formats where grave abuse is a heavier thing, since it can net you your opponents monsters if you have the defenses to maintain them, and even upon removal it still wouldn't give them back. in other words, it IS outclassed in versatility, but it has a unique method of disruption, so it has it's own separate uses as well.
