Thomas★Zero
Lucky Pot of Greed Spell Card Declare 1 card type (Monster, Spell or Trap), then draw the top card of your deck and reveal it, if that card is the same as the declared type: draw 1 card. If the revealed card wasn't the declared type: send 1 card from your hand to the graveyard. You can only activate "Lucky Pot of Greed" once per turn. Edit: added "If the revealed card wasn't the declared type: send 1 card from your hand to the graveyard. this means if you have more then 1 card in your hand, you can keep the drawn card while discarding another. Trebuchet MS
Although it's theoretically a 1/3 chance of being a +1 in card advantage, if you stack the Deck a bit or have an incredible skew towards a card type, you're greatly increasing your chances of getting that +1. It's potent, though the hard OPT clause reins in some of its spammability.
(GigaDrillBreaker)
9/10 this is an upstart goblin that doesn't increase opponent's life points. If it were to exist, it would instantly become a 3-of in every deck ever. They don't need to guess right for this card to be good, and if they guess right, it is broken. This needs greater restrictions to see the light of day.
EndUser
What if there was a choice to return it to the bottom of the Deck or send it to the Graveyard and re-draw, if the card was/was not the same type? Preferably to Deck, because this way any big advantage is prevented.
Thomas★Zero
I made another draw back on the card for if it was incorrect you send any card in your hand to the grave.
(GigaDrillBreaker)
Still utterly broken in things like exodia, where you just name "spell". The way it is, the card is a -1 at the very worst, and a +1 at the best. If you have any clue what kind of deck you are using, it will likely lean closer to being a +1. In exodia/chain burn, this is still a better Upstart Goblin. I feel like the best bet might simply be to remove the upside.
