lokun489
The idea here is kind of stupid, but to use the Side Deck in a fun way, here we go! Whenever you take 1000 or more damage from a single attack, place one "Rewinding Chains" counter on this card. If this face-up card is destroyed by an opponents card effect you can add one "Forbidden One" monster from your side deck to your hand for every "Rewinding Chains" counter. Oh, and as for what this is supposed to do, since it adds from the side deck, you can just throw this guy into the main deck with five pieces in the side, and it serves as a great field nuke deterrent. As your opponent does more and more damage it becomes a worse, and worse idea to destroy it, and some cards aren't too picky on what they destroy, slowing down the opponent, and either generating a hand advantage for cards that require a discard for their effect, or an instant when. Flash Flyer - Sakura
Uh yeah, Exodia support is definitely something to avoid here. Although given the wording, it only searches 1 part, regardless of how many Rewinding counters it has. Then again, it makes your opponent reconsider before deciding to pop things with MST or something, but even then recall that the parts are all still Limited, so unless you decided to move something during duels; probably won't see play. Dr. Schrecken
And the counters's objective is...?By the way, I honestly do not see it as a bad idea, for my part I see it a little useful.

It seems tame, since it doesn't just force the opponent to bring out the fabulous five or anything, its just a tame spell card. This is a pretty tame spell card. Probably the most tame custom spell card I have ever seen!
Flash Flyer - Sakura
Either way, Exodia has enough searching support as is; although this one is basically tame. Of course, the counters don't do anything. Now if this allowed you to add 1 Exodia part for every counter, then we'd have a problem.

That is actually what I meant to do, but I wrote it wrong, totally fixing it now!
Tinkerer
Wait, it adds Exodia cards from the SIDE DECK to the hand? That's just nutty. ... It's also hilarious.
Progenitor
Wait, it adds Exodia cards from the SIDE DECK to the hand? That's just nutty. ... It's also hilarious. It's also Illegal. The Side Deck is considered out of play and therefore cannot be used during a duel.

That's why this is in experimental. I put it here, because I'm technically aware of that, but elected to ignore it for the sake of this cards effect. Horu
It seems interesting but how would you pull off this effect in a program like yvd? This effect can only be used in a live duel.

Eh, in my mind "experimental" still requires it to be within the laws (not rules) of the game. By your logic you could make a card that says: Discard 3 cards; Shuffle 1 card from a Deck Box you own into your Main Deck. Rules are things that can be bent or broken to suit the card. A Law is something that should never be messed with, and is generally common sense. But honestly there are really no rules here, so to each their own.
