Who?

..No seriously. Who?

Edit: Oh. That guy.
Meh, never watched Star Trek.

Did you see Fringe? Because he was William Bell.
Did you watch Atlantis: The Lost Empire? Because he was the King of Atlantis.
And did you play Civilization IV? Because he was the Narrator.
He's had more roles than just Spock.

I only somewhat watched Star Trek. But I did appreciate his acting, and I know this man was a very influential figure for many many many people. I should see how my dad is holding up...

But this is sad news, simply because of what an important man he was in the history of television, plus he seemed like an interesting man himself.

Original Spock from Star Trek...

Master Xehanort from Kingdom Hearts...

He was also Galvatron in the original animated transformers movie, and supposedly did some of Unicron's lines after Orson Welles died.

Nimoy was one of my childhood heroes, both as Spock as well as a person I've always looked up to in real life. He will be greatly missed.

EDIT: I read his final Tweet in a TIME article and thought it was particularly profound. Guess I should share:

"A life is like a garden. Perfect moments can be had, but not preserved, except in memory. LLAP"
