Cannot be Special Summoned. During the End Phase of the turn this card was Normal Summoned or flipped face-up: Return it to the hand.

: During your opponent’s Battle Phase, if you Summoned a Spirit Monster last turn: You can discard this card; end the Battle Phase.

: If this card is returned from the field to your hand: Shuffle 1 card from each your opponent’s field and hand into the Deck (the card in the hand is chosen at random).

:D Spirits. Spirits. Spirits.

First effect is fine... 2nd effect is to much... have it say 1 random card in their hand to be shuffled...forcing them to lay down everything: This can lead to clog/Mst of important spell. Also monsters are still more likely to be shuffled. Giving up a normal summon for that is annoying for the opponent... but balanced.

I don't think the second effect is too bad, supposing you have to Tribute Summon it, but maybe make it target the card on the field to stop it being powerful, hard to stop removal. Also WATER level 5 means you can Normal Summon it without tributing using A Legendary Ocean, I presume that is intentional? Overall it is quite a cool card IMO.

Oops...i thought it had 4 stars... silly me. In that case it is balanced.  Also you must state how the cards are chosen to be shuffled. If you get to chose... you look at there hand (I am presuming that) nd that is a bit over. 1 random for hand and 1 your choice for field is REALLY good.

This card is great, but the 2nd eff might be a bit too much. Perhaps make it so that it has to return by a card effect other thsn its own? Or maybe make it an or instead of and?

It actually isn't too much, if it did just 1 of those each time it would be a wasted tribute summon. The thought was to give Spirits a viable, and different play.

The effect is actually fairly decent for a level 5. Yosenjus bounce really easy with lvl 4 monsters, and this one's a level 5. If it could only spin 1 of them, it wouldn't redeem its own Normal Summon.

huh. The synergy with a Legendary Ocean is not intended. But I as I see it right now, it's not unwanted either. I'll test it on DP and see.

The infamous Spirit Monster background exists as a thing, you know...

As for the card itself... It's a Spirit version of Nekroz Trish, but gimmicky, and would make for a silly ption.
'Course, the safest method for this card's antics would be to forego the Battle Phase, on the off chance something weird happened, and you would have full range of stuff to hit. OR just play it in MP2 and get the same effect. If you wanted to be pro, though, you could make Reptile; Would give it another layer of searchability.
