Shaddoll Fusion (against an ED monster) puts 8100 on the board all by itself.

It's also ridiculously easy to do this in general, between El/OG and Damajuggler/Tricklown.

The same set is the reason the Drulers were preemptively killed, so clowns are considered the most likely reason. Both of these have before/after reasons, with Yuki being the one for Dolls and Dark Matter as well for rulers.

Not saying the right decision, but the reasoning.

Can't be, DMD Rulers were on the decline in OCG. Like the LaDD lock+CED in hand lost it bite really fast. If anything it was due to rulers being a s*** pile of design and hindered any further Dragon Support.

 

They wanted Shaddolls to stop running the Envoys 

Smart choice, lets stop that and kill Yuki Usagi (and maybe clown if Konami really plans ahead)

Now Shaddolls are either summoning 4K Def Felgrands or being like 

 

"Oh? you normal summon? Chain Dark Renewal on my Falco, pop your summon, Summon DMoC and his big ass out of my ass, oh wait it gets better, let me add back that Harpies Feather Duster and Summon this beast....now where were we?"

See, I don't disagree with your logic for the most part, I'm just Using koomy logic to explain.

Rulers are mainly suspected of being banned due to the Red-Eyes support in addition to Dark Matter, and the combination led to a pre-emotive hit. Possibly a unneeded one, but a safe one.

Same thought process goes to clowns, as they do hate the Yuki in dolls, but they also likely did not want a fuck Tom of clown doll OTKs being added to the mix.

What strikes me as odd is that's more a TCG thing to do.

 

OCG is the one that decided to give Shockmaster (a good choice as it turns out) a second chance after the Star Seraph format. For a R/D that doesn't retroactively ban to go so hard with the Hammer is just flat out confusing.

 

Rulers....ugh.. I miss Tempest and Blaster....but they were holding Ravine, Rujuv, and Shrine @1. The Triforce hitting 3 in exchange for the ruler's I'll take....

Trap Dolls, arguably the best build, would be far less effective or equally with 1 Winda 1 Construct instead of 3 Winda. Math, Armageddon, and Bandit @1 Along with Super Poly, El, and Instant being limited pretty much destroyed the deck. I'm really praying that it was a overkill hit just to make them not effective. 

 

 

Say what you will about last format shaddolls, but I will take a double Envoy drop over this this cock block of a deck 25/7

 

*Shaddolls dropped Super Poly and Pot of Avarice. Like I agree with everything you are saying black, I'm just saying that Construct was 100% a bad move, there is no two ways around that claim.

 

Looking past my rambling. Trapdolls are so much more of a ugly addition to OCG than some halfbreed cross of Clownblade and Chaos Dolls. Post Priority some of these cards like TT are just devastating.
