They did things, nekroz search their deck in a boring fashion and then just completely overwhelm the opponent with single Ritual monsters. They are SO boring in comparison to Qliphorts and dragons. I've only used Nekroz once, and the duel was canceled because of an interuption. I just love Rituals. If anything, its personal preference. Rekt They had the upside of being the first working Pendulum deck unlike Nekroz which just proved that rituals cant be good unless they use crappy search loops and outright OP effects. And Konami enjoyed supporting it again and again with more and more broken stuff. At least Nekroz is immediately stopped and only had one wave of supports. Qliphort is STILL NOT hurt as much as Shaddoll or any other decks. To be FAIR. Qli's HAVE NOT been doing as much over in OCGland as Shaddolls have been doing. And as Aix(or was it Ain, I can't tell you people apart anymore), that they survived multiple attempts to kill them off, much similar to Infernity on our side, so as such, they were hit more than the deck (Qli) that wasn't topping in the amount of numbers everything else was. For Shaddolls, El Shaddoll Fusion is a quickplay Polymerization, which is inherently bad design due to OTK potential, Shaddolls just make it worse by then gaining additional effects off of it. However, I do not agree with the ban of Construct. Limiting El Shaddoll Fusion should have been enough, but it seems as though KoJ is trying to do 2 things here. 1) We've had enough of the deck. Get out of here. 2) We don't like the current version, so we are going to try to push it into a more stun-oriented deck, as shown by pushing Winda back to 3, and not touching the original Shaddoll Fusion at all. A fairly likable deck (usually) relative to the rest of the game with only one or two true offenders that refuses to die despite Konami wanting it to die. So they hit it over and over and fail, and now they're just pissed, so they killed the only offensive Fusion and punished dolls for Yuki Usagi. Trap dolls is more based on Dark Renwal and Kycoo Control/DMOC beat down. Train dolls just puts out shit with big asses. I don't like how OCG is dealing with things TBH. It's also ridiculously easy to do this in general, between El/OG and Damajuggler/Tricklown. The same set is the reason the Drulers were preemptively killed, so clowns are considered the most likely reason. Both of these have before/after reasons, with Yuki being the one for Dolls and Dark Matter as well for rulers. Not saying the right decision, but the reasoning.
