Brilliant Fusion
Continuous Spell Card
You can only activate 1 “Brilliant Fusion” per turn.
(1) Send, from your Deck to the Graveyard, Fusion Material Monsters that are listed on a “Gem-Knight” Fusion Monster in your Extra Deck, then Fusion Summon that “Gem-Knight” Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck, but its ATK and DEF each become 0. Destroy that monster if this card leaves the field.
(2) Once per turn: You can discard 1 Spell Card; that Fusion Summoned monster gains ATK and DEF equal to its original ATK and DEF, until the end of your opponent’s turn.

This card is great, Summon Lady Brilliant, use her effect, Summon whatever else you want. Combine this with Lazuli and some Normal Monsters and plus massively. Will probably be run at 3 in my Deck.

Gem-Knight Lady Brilliant Dia / Gem-Knight Lady Brilliant Diamond
Level 10 EARTH Rock-Type Fusion Effect Monster
ATK 3400
DEF 2000
3 “Gem-Knight” monsters
Must first be Fusion Summoned by using the above Fusion Materials. You can only Special Summon “Gem-Knight Lady Brilliant Dia” once per turn.
(1) Once per turn: You can send 1 “Gem-Knight” monster you control to the Graveyard, and if you do, Special Summon 1 “Gem-Knight” Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck, ignoring the Summoning conditions.

As said above, this card works wonders with Brilliant Fusion since you can just send itself to get anything Gem-Knight, but it itself also pretty good since it has massive ATK.

Entermage Trick Clown
Level 4 LIGHT Spellcaster-Type Effect Monster
ATK 1600
DEF 1200
You can only use the effect of “Entermage Trick Clown” once per turn.
(1) If this card is sent to the Graveyard: You can target 1 “Entermage” monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon it, but its ATK and DEF become 0, then you take 1000 damage.

Trick Clown is silly, Foolish Burial, PWWB, no matter what you get a monster. It also dodges TT and Bottomless, if the translation is correct. I am sure people will tech this into things.

Brilliant Fusion is bloody good! So you can basically can summon “Gem-Knight” Fusion Monster, for free? (sure their Atk/Def is going to be 0, but they can still use their effect) Also is a good card to dump Gem Knight to the graveyard quickly

Lady Brilliant Dia is a bit meh, thought they are going to bufff it, oh well at least the effect is interesting

Entermage Trick Clown is amazing

So, since Lapis Lazuli makes milling Gem-Knights from Extra piss easy, you can do stuff like Brilliant Fusion into Lady Dia, use her effect to send something to summon regular Dia, and use his effect to copy a previously milled by Lapis Lazuli Lady Dia and use the effect again, blah blah.

Nevermind I can't read, I forgot Master Dia copies level 7 OR LOWER.

Well, there's another upside to Trick Clown.

It's not DARK, so Arma Knight can't abuse the fuck out of it. Thank god for that.

Dark Renewal though... pretty much says, Pay 1000 life points and send 1 monster your opponent controls to the graveyard; Special Summon 1 "Dark Magician of Chaos". During the end phase, add 1 "Raigeki" to your hand.

Gem-Knights are hardly-

It's the fact that you can mill 3 to make Lady Diamond, which will typically trigger whatever effect(s) they have.
Then, Lady can swap herself for another Gem-Knight Fusion/etc.
Finally, it's the fact your field now has like [x] number of Gem-Knights on it because you played a whole 1 card.

It's not so much the fact that Gem-Knights still won't really do much, but it's the fact it's a fuckin' Future Fusion for an Archetype that has a similar gimmick to Shaddolls.

>Make absorb fusion, over restrict the fusion effect
>print a card that's basically a better and slightly more vulnerable absorb fusion

Brilliant

Exactly why it has the name. Though Absorb Fusion's biggest problem isn't so much the restrictions as it banishes the materials.

Though both of these would have been good even if they limited you to Gem-Knights.

This thing, and its 'convenient' pack placement, made me realize the choice in LDS trio decks.

The (X)X-Sabers
Had their armors/weapons absorbed by Gishki Avance/Great Sorcerer of the Nekroz when Shurit (Avance's son) was defeated by the Dolls (anomalilith/Freezing Void), and he became Zefra Saber; The ONLY pure ritual in the history of the DT. It also allowed him to overcome the Shaddolls who blocked their rituals at that point, albeit with the Dragunity 'longinus'.

Constellars
Claim both of the 'gods' of the DT at present; Kerykeion (Rasalhague) and Sombres (Lazuli), and are the predecessor to the formation of the tellarknights

And Gem-Knights...
Powered the Qliphorts first and later the Zefra. They're the main characters of the previous arc, to boot.

Ain and I figured out why they postponed the brilliants. She's the final DT here. The Zefra are the successors to the Gem-Knights, and Sombres is still there as Ptolemaios/Diamond. She reassumed her form as a Gem-Knight, presumably due to the Zefra coming together (remember, one of the Zefra-Shaddolls was Crystal's reincarnation/purification) for a final form which has the same ATK as Tierra. She's 048 in the set and Tierra's 049, which is convenient both to the story and adjacency to the DT. Crystal Rose isn't canon support, so it doesn't matter. Also, her effect is basically
call back/remember the gem-knights. As for inconsistency with summoning, OG Diamond had a summoning condition that didn't fit canon, either
