Peridank
Okay... so I didn't see a thread for this but... this is one of my fave traps that really doesn't get used. But with the current format... I see it being a big help. When an opponent's monster declares an attack: Target the attacking monster; negate the attack, also, after that, Set this card face-downinstead of sending it to the Graveyard. With less s/t removal this format... and seeing how this format has a lot of heavy hitters... this card seems really good. But I'm bad at this game so idk... ~Faytl~
Always liked this card. Has it's place in Tzolkin decks, certainly. Its pretty much required at three.
JessicaMuddy
Negate Attack is basically a better version of this, though this is re-usable. It's really up to choice, but I think your opponent will just MST it after the first time it's revealed.
Expelsword
There's a couple decks that could get away with this, but I'll tell you, most of the time this gets flipped on me I'm relieved; now I know that one of their traps isn't threatening me. ihop
It's so passive. Negating one attack is cool and all but you're using up a card for it and it's just a card that could have been used to actually stop your opponent building a field rather than stopping the attacks when they do come. It's not to lean on for sure... but I've seen quite a few cards with protection... and this can be a life saver for those cards that just come back... As said s/t removal is low this format... no reason to max on mst (unless you REALLY need it)
Neutrality Man
Temple of the Kings + This = No more attacks ever.
ihop
Nah, it just negates 2 attacks now that Temple is nerfed.
Neutrality Man
But... gah I fucking hate when rulings make effects work differently than written. Scrap-Iron is still the same 1 card!

Spinny
#yolo That card is a 1-off exception, ofc there will always be exceptions but I'm just saying in general.
ihop
Why would you want to negate an attack from something with 0 attack?

VampireofDarkness
Still has 0 attack... No, you negate an attack WHILE YOU CONTROL Tzolkin, it Sets itself, so you get a free Synchro via Tzolkin

evilfusion
But... gah I fucking hate when rulings make effects work differently than written. Scrap-Iron is still the same 1 card! What? Temple's errata lets you activate a Trap the turn it was Set, but only once that turn. It doesn't matter if it's the same Trap getting Set several times, you're only allowed to activate a newly Set Trap once that turn by Temple's effect. Anyway, the issue with Scrap-Iron is that while it is a nice layer of defense, it doesn't do anything else. Very handy in anime standards, though, and it was one of Yusei's most useful defensive Traps (and hilarious against Z-ONE...for a while), due to how anime Duels tend to focus on one or two big monsters at once.
