Odd-Eyes Absolute Dragon
WATER/Dragon/Xyz/Effect/Rank 7/2800 ATK/2500 DEF
2 Level 7 monsters(?)
You can only use each effect of “Odd-Eyes Absolute Dragon” once per turn. When a monster declares an attack: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; negate that attack, then you can Special Summon 1 “Odd-Eyes” monster from your hand or Graveyard. If this Xyz Summoned card is sent to the Graveyard: You can Special Summon 1 “Odd-Eyes” monster from your Extra Deck, except “Odd-Eyes Absolute Dragon”.

Holy fuck.

So then, another Odd-Eyes Xyz, though this isn't a Pendulum Monster. This guy is pretty badass though, as it acts like a Utopia that also Special Summons Odd-Eyes monsters, which basically means that you can trade an attack to get another Odd-Eyes which you just detached. Pretty neat. It's also generic, which means you can use the Magicians to bring it out, or any Level 7 you want really. The last effect is also pretty powerful, as it can bring out Rebellion Dragon, even if you can't really use its effect, though a 3000 beater that you can later bring back is not half bad when it dies.

first effect seems okay.....but the only run worthy odd-eyes is the pendulum dragon, and not much chance of its being in hand (since you rather use it for searching) or grave...so not much chance the summon will ever be used

second effect is amazing....when leave the field it call a 3000 beater that when destroyed insta-setup your pendulum....
can be better later of if there is more odd-eyes extra deck monster

Edit: Now question, if this summon OERD, then its destroyed goes to Pendulum Zone, then destroyed again

goes face-up in extra, can you pendulum it? , cause its never been summoned properly..

Oh fuck, I just realized it CAN get out Rebellion.

Who knows? Maybe Saber might actually be useful soon...

I don't understand what the theme for the extra-deck is going.

Like, Odd-Eyes already has two fusion forms, but none have anything to do with the soon-to-be-revealed Fusion Dragon. Then Xyz got an Xyz Pendulum and I was like "Oh okay, so he'll get Pendulum upgrades of each Extra Deck version"

But now this gets released and I don't know what the frick is happening anymore.

Hey. It's better than the endless Chaos Utopias. These at least have some cool ideas (no pun intended).

You can just Summon the monster you detached, assuming you used Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon for the Summon (which you most likely did).

Yeah, it will go to the Extra Deck at that point. You can also Special Summon it with this card again.

right.... i forgot xyzed pendulum goes to grave, now you can use it like utopia, attack, negate by its own effect

summon the detached OEPD, then use double or nothing, attack with this and OEPD 5600+2500 for OTK...

There's no!!! ORDER!!! TO THESE THEMES!!!!!

My inner Card-Maker is just writhing at the lack of organization!!!

There actually is a theme.
Odd-Eyes' evolutions are exactly that: evolutions. It tries different branching paths of combining traits from other monsters (Beast-Eyes, Rune-Eyes), completely fuses with monsters (Rebellion), or adapts its own new forms (Saber, Absolute). Odd-Eyes does not create its own direct path, but takes traits from those it encounters, like some sort of card game version of Kirby.

Interesting card, negating one's own attack for one odd-eyes and hey you do not need to summon the non-deteached odd-eyes.

The second effect seems interesting to Summon Odd-Eyes evolutions, and setting up new pendulum scales via rebellion's effect.

There is only one question, if you summon rebellion and he gets destroyedand sent face-up to the extra deck, would he be pendulum summonable ?

Actually he should as that summoning concept is part of his design, so pendulum summon should be another appropriate way to summon him.
