Minato Sakai
"Relinquished" + "Thousand-Eyes Idol"Other monsters cannot change their battle position or attack. Once perturn, you can equip 1 monster your opponent controls to this card (max 1). This card's ATK and DEF become the same as the equipped monster's. If this card would be destroyed by battle, the equipped monster is destroyed instead. why isnt this at 3?
Atypical-Abbie
People ask this all the time, it just isn't, and why they won't do it is unknown. It actually might be pretty good now that you can easily search the Materials with cards like Fusion Conscription
Marco Polo
It is just an iconic banlist thing, and will probably stay an icon and no more. Everyone knows it serves no purpose on the banlist whatsoever, but it'll still be there.

Master Hyperion
Because it turns Instant Fusion into generic removal on the level as that of 101 that also allows you to use it as Tribute fodder. Might be coming back one day though, because when Noden ever comes here in the TCG, the limitation or banning of Instant Fusion is very likely to happen. Atypical-Abbie
Let's just get rid of Instant Fusion already, it is pretty dumb.

We have way worse than that right now. And like other people said, Instant Fusion is the problem here.
Toffee.
Hey, you know... After this thing is played through Instant Fusion, you can go and revive it with everything later, and basically re-use it.That reason is probably why Konami is skeptical about it. evilfusion
It's definitely Instant Fusion's fault. Well, it was originally Metamorphosis, but that's banned too. And I guess Instant Fusion has more value to the game than this does. This can come back with no problem once Instant Fusion's gone. The issue with this isn't the removal, it's the complete and utter lockdown of other monsters, which can slow the game to a grinding halt. And since Instant Fusion is a Fusion Summon, you can revive Restrict with other effects afterwards.
Sleepy
Instant fusion , this, take opp monster, this survives end phase Its too broken Older Unions, Relinquish, and this card, among others... They all have something in common. They don't protect themselves from effect destruction. Instant Fusion will destroy this card regardless of if this card has something equipped or not. Hmmm so if Instant Fusion got errata'd to not be a Fusion Summon, that'd lower this and Noden a little bit in that regard.... Not that I expect Konami to errata a non-banned card, but just thought it'd be an interesting thing.

Noden being used with it could still happen, which is the more relevant reason for using Instant Fusion. I would just want it Limited/Banned. ihop
Tribute summons are kinda important in the game right now and the ability to not only provide tribute fodder with Instant Fusion but also to get rid of their most threatening monster (say, if you want to tribute for Vanity's fiend but your opponent has a Trish or a Construct or something) is kinda still really good. Also, it makes the eventual release of Noden even more broken because this is just an extra option if you need an out to certain things rather than wanting to go Noden, or you need to get rid of a monster early-game when there's nothing to bring back with Noden.
