If you control a Field Spell Card, you can Special Summon this card (from your hand). Once per turn: You can increase this card’s Level by 1 for each Beast-Type monster on the field. Pretty much any Deck out there that uses a Field Spell (a lot of them do, especially with newer players who for some reason feel the need to have a Field Spell) gains access to this, and in those Decks it's a Level 2 or 3 Tuner that won't eat your NS. I mean, I can run this in Crusolars, and combined with Batmed's Solar Champion, they now gain access to any generic Level 6-8 Synchro for 0 effort when they were supposed to not even think about an Extra Deck. (Previously, with just Solar Champ, they could make easy Rank 4s or Level 8 Synchros, and apparently everyone else doesn't mind Solar Champion.) I mean, I should probably be glad that they gain access to yet another toy, but I don't really feel that way. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I guess my point is very weak...? Delta Flyer was mostly good because its typing and attribute gave it synergy with other cards. I never considered it to be a solid card on its own.
