AnnieShifter
Gofuu no Keiyakusho / Covenant of the Mistaken Seal Trap Continuous (1) Once per turn, if you control a “D/D” monster: You can activate this effect; until the end of this turn, negate all Trap Effects on the field, except for this card’s. (2) During each of your Standby Phases: You take 1000 damage. So it's a searchable royal decree. Neat.

Blake
So, this is a searchable, OPT Trap Stun. What does this mean? Other than setting multiples, at least, it means... Well... If not mained, you can side all the flood/d/dgates in the world. At least, in theory. You can apply floodgates to your opponent and just not give a fuck once your turn comes around. And vanity's will never die unless MST is aimed AT it... which means not taking out a covenant or something else, even if Vanity's is shut off for the turn. heraldry_lord
I gotta say: They've been pretty consistent about the quality of the Covenants thus far.

evilfusion
can having two copies of this out prevent itself from hurting you? You can prevent 1 from hurting you, but the other one will hurt you regardless. If you activate one of their effects to negate the other Traps, even in a chain, it'll end with all Traps but 1 of them being negated, and you taking 1000. And if you don't have a D/D during a Standby Phase, you'll take 2000 for no reason other than you can't negate all Traps.

evilfusion
The point still is that 2 of them has no benefit.
Atypical-Abbie
This is pretty good, the most annoying thing for D/D players is when your opponent messes up your moves, this fixes that. The wording seems to suggest it's Trap Stun style too, which is also awesome.
The Highlander
The point still is that 2 of them has no benefit. With 2 you do have another copy if your opponent decides to mst one. Solid support for D/D decks (and something they definitely needed).
Rodrigo
With this thing, you can now be a huge D/D/Dick when playing the deck.

CLG Klavier
That looks shit out of context. I'll look up the rest of the archetype when I can be bothered. Context is that this archetype revolves around Covenants, aka what you see in the OP. All are continuous spells/traps with the "During your standby phase, take 1000 damage" drawback. One is a RotA, other is a Raigeki Break, and then there's also a Miracle Fusion on a stick. So essentially D'Arc is piss easy to summon and lets you hit like 15k life easily. Blake
That looks shit out of context. I'll look up the rest of the archetype when I can be bothered. I'll give you a very quick rundown. Keep in mind, the majority of the deck is combo-oriented. Just lots of combos. All the maindeck monsters are DARK (so viruses ahoy) and the D/D/D ARE D/D Covenant with the Infernal/Hell Gate Continuous Spell You can add 1 "D/D" from deck to hand Only once per turn burn yourself 1000 each Standby Covenant with the Swamp King Continuous Spell You can fusion summon 1 Fiend-Type Fusion using monsters in your hand/on your field and/or banishing "D/D"s from the grave Only once per turn burn yourself 1000 each Standby Covenant with the Valkyrie Continuous Trap Either turn, you can discard 1 "D/D" or "Covenant" to target a card; Destroy it Only once per turn During opp's turn, all Fiends you control get +1000 ATK burn yourself 1000 each Standby D/D Magical Sage Kepler Level 1 Scale 10 Fiend/Pend/Effect P-Eff: Loses 2 scale each turn, then destroy all non-"D/D" with a higher level than it has scale. Can only Pendulum Summon D/D Monster effect: Hard OPT. When NS/SS, you can either: 1. Search a covenant from deck 2. Bounce a D/D card you control 0/0 D/D Lilith Level 4 Fiend/Eff Hard OPT. When it's NS/SS'd, you can either: 1. Target 1 D/D in grave; Add it to hand 2. Add 1 face-up D/D Pendulum Monster from ED to hand 100/2100 D/D Night Howling Level 3 Fiend/Tuner/Eff When NSd: You can target 1 D/D monster in Grave; SS it, but its stats become 0/0 and you take 1000 if it gets destroyed. You can only SS Fiends for the rest of the turn. 300/600 D/D Cerberus Level 4 Scale 6 Fiend/Pend/Eff P-Eff: OPT, you can target a D/D with a Level that isn't 4; Its level becomes 4 and it gains 400 ATK/DEF. M-Eff: When PSd from the hand, you can target 1 Continuous Spell in your grave; Add it to your hand 1800/600 D/D/D Abyss Ragnarok Level 8 Scale 5 Fiend/Pend/Eff P-Eff: Hard OPT, when you SS a D/D: Target a D/D in grave; SS it, and if you do, take 1000 damage. All battle damage you inflict this turn is halved. M-EFF: Hard OPT. When NSd/SSd, target 1 D/D/D in grave; SS it. Once per turn, you can tribute 1 other D/D to target a monster the opp controls; Banish it. 2200/3000 D/D/D Leonidas LEvel 7 Scale 3 Fiend/Pend/Eff P-Eff: When you take burn: You can destroy this card; All burn you take for the rest of the turn heals you, instead. M-Eff: When you take burn: You can Special Summon this card from your hand, and if you do, heal the damage you took. Other stuff of note is ether new or in the ED. There's more to the archetype, but these are the most important members. And note that your P-Scales are used as spells, not pendulum summoning support, 95/100 times.
