SANDAA BORUTO
When this card is activated: Place this card on top of your Deck. If this card is sent to the Graveyard by the effect of a "Lightsworn" monster: You can add 1 "Judgment Dragon" from your Deck to your hand. They could have printed ANYTHING as LS support. ANYTHING. But I guess they figured out there weren't enough "Search JD" cards. This thing is so easy to trigger it's not even funny. Flip this, drop Raiden, mill, and boom, instant sacky boss card in your hand. Thank goodness it's an OCG exclusive. Discuss.
DuelSpectre
inb4 JDInLightswornsArguement. But seriously, this card isn't even that good, and it just reinforces the sacky nature of Lightsworn decks.
CLG Klavier
I tried it. It's quite bad. Not completly shit like I first thought, but not "OMG BROKEN" like people like OP make it out to be.

True, but they are right when they say This is toxic design, rewarding sacky plays with even more sacky plays. Impact aside, the very concept of this card is dumb. 玄魔の王
What does it change in regards to this card being s***? It doesn't, but people are tired of Konami making cards like this. If you have to make the card terrible just to rein in bad design, why make it at all?
DuelSpectre
Maybe Konami actually thought this card would be good if released by pulling off some gimmicky combo with it that only Konami knows?
ihop
Because lots of people like playing Lightsworn and they like the luck-based aspect of it? The money made from those sort of people will probably be way more than the money lost from the handful of people, if any, who quit because this is "toxic card design" (I'm of the opinion that people just like to complain and, unless it's just a really bad format, serious players don't quit because the game is bad)
DuelSpectre
Lightsworns is YGO in a nutshell. ------------------------------- Lightsworns: Luck-based. If you have to make the card terrible just to rein in bad design, why make it at all? Can you please elaborate on the "bad design" part? If anything, I'd argue this card is very cleverly thought up. It's useless if you draw it, it nicely plays into the dynamic of the archetype, it's just really slow. What, it's a JD tutor? JD isn't "toxic" either, so if anything, I'd say this is a very interesting, well made card. And if you look past the salt, it is one. Because lots of people like playing Lightsworn and they like the luck-based aspect of it? Toffee.
To be fair, guys, the only reason people have issues with this card is that it rewards luck with a game winning card. The card is mediocre, yes, because it's gimmicky at best, but it's the whole "lel i win cuz lucky" aspect that makes people cringe; Hence why people don't like it. .... You'd still be better off doing the usual Eclypse shenanigans, because you can typically grab JD right off the bat, which proves to be far more effecient. Airride
While the conditions are similar to Felis, it's even more restrictive that it has to be sent by a LIGHTSWORN monster. That means you HAVE to rely on random mills for it to work, no Lavalval Chain here. It's also, IMO, less payout; While, yes, you get JD to the hand, Felis allows a plethora of options, and, at very worst, pops a monster and is another rename for JD. This also allows your opponent's MSTs to get live, and if you draw this, you basically have to wait through to your opponent's turn, then to your end phase to activate it (assuming you don't have raiden), then through ANOTHER turn to actually be able to make use of that JD. At least Felis is good as Recharge or Lumina fodder...and still counts as another name.

Spinny
? They are useless when milled and wyberburster will usually only have Collapserpent as a target since the other tech spaces are for the Clown engine, which are not dark either. Either way it wouldnt be as consistent or powerful.

Also, there are a lot of cards in Lightsworn that are useless when milled, except unlike all of those cards you can remove these for your other Chibi Chaos Dragon, or banish them for BLS. I'm not really sure what Lightsworn builds are like now since I have taste and I won't touch the deck with a 10 foot pole. I might be remembering incorrectly, but I seem to distinctly remember a time when they played Chibi Chaos to Normal Summon Rank 4s or Level 8 Synchros, and also to proc Eclipse Wyvern. The point is that they died off when clowns came in and they got an xyz. Clowns suit the deck better and it would be hard to incorporate that system aswell, remembering that you need 4 names of LS in the graveyard for JD. Spinny
I literally just noticed the OCG in the title. My bad. Yeah, this card is an ocg exclusive XP Actually on topic though, the reason why this trap card wasn't as bad as people thought it was gonna be was because of the clowns making it easy to summon Minerva and milling with her to get to this. The card itself still doesn't have too much impact but it can be fun to play around with.

This card has absolutely nothing to do with it, really. I meant the present with Chibi Chaos, but it will probably get phased out for Clowns because balanced.
