Cartoon Cancellation

Symbiotic Titan...damn. I remember loving that show, but I don't remember much of it. I actually just finished re-watching season one of Young Justice (I don't think I've watched much of season two). Cartoon Network made a sheet decision to cancel both those shows. Trying to think of all my favorite childhood cartoons... I don't think Teen Titans, Codename: Kids Next Door, Courage: The Cowardly Dog, Billy and Mandy, Ed, Edd n' Eddy, and Johnny Bravo got cancelled, did they? As fo cartoons more aimed at older audiences, I never got to watch Spawn (still need to), but for this topic, Spawn comes up quite often. I think The Simpsons, Family Guy, American Dad, and South Park needed to be cancelled years ago. Not so sure on South Park though.

Teen Titans was over some internal reasons, which is a shame since the ratings and popularity were still high and it could have done more cool things.

Like addressing that goddamn cliffhanger in the last episode.

I disagree that South Park should be cancelled since it's still done a good job at making me laugh every season. Plus, its humor allows it to stay current. Family Guy does need to end though, can't speak for the other two.

The most criminal cancellation for me was Spectacular Spider-Man. It was just good. And Ultimate Spider-Man feels incredibly lackluster following that.

That episode was completely unnecessary. None of us needed any closure on Tera cause, well, she got turned into a freaking statue. Hell, they didn't even tell us how she got out (to my knowledge, at least.) Nonetheless, the REAL cliffhanger is that new enemy. What is it? Where did it come from? I mean c'mon, man, you can't just throw in an awesome villain like that and not flesh it out.

Young Justice.

There's so much left to cover.

Like,

Jason's death.

That big reveal at the end of season 2

Dick and Babs (most important)

Roy running off with Static Shock and some other kids

That big reveal at the end of season 2

Superboy and Miss Martian's drama

Artemis post-Kid Flash

That big reveal at the end of season 2

Did I mention Dick and Babs? (Most important)

Why Joker's hair looks so stupid

Red Hood

Why Luthor looks like Professor X

Avengers: United They Stand just because the X-Men from the 90's cartoon were supposed to appear in season 2. Other than that, the show was bland.

The 90's Iron Man cartoon. Season 2 was incredible.

Maybe Beware the Batman.

Not a cartoon, but Lois and Clark. Best Superman ever. Based Dashing Dean Cain.

South Park shouldn't be compared to Family Guy, American Dad, or The Simpsons. Each of the latter shows is made like most TV shows where production is done months in advance.

South park is made in less than a week the actual week before it airs, meaning it is always topical. It's essentially an animated parody show mildly comparable to This Week Tonight with John Oliver.

HOW ABOUT SHOWS THAT NEVER GOT PAST THE PILOT, HUH?

Ed Edd and Eddy.

That is all.

Really? I felt right at home with that movie finisher. It was my favorite show as a kid... But I feel it ended the best way it could. And I feel like I got a lot out of it. But I suppose we are talking about cartoon network here. So yeah...

I understand the finish, but the large gap between the last new episode and Big Picture Show was too long.

The three Ed-boys will live on in hilariously funny Youtube Poops.

RIP Ed-Boys XD
