*Raises hand*

Can we either go lurk the create-a-card thread and use the ideas there to make said Archetype support OR can we just go and flood the custom cards sections with what we all belive is the intended support for said Archetypes/etc? Thread seems like an ideal thing for this.

Venom need a complete rework in order to be even playable.

Same could be said, for like, every Archetype that uses Counters.

If the main focus is to pile the Counters on [x], then don't funking make more far more cards that remove said Counters. I mean, it's a matter of resources that need to stay consistent for it to actually be effective, despite the game having far more things that can screw over said Counters in the first place.

Everybody should know my first choice, but I'll say it anyway.

genex.

Genex got shafted on almost every end, with relying on normal summons, being too focused on just using Controller, which limits Tuner design, they rely on attributes too much for their synchros, and overall they're terrible.

Also, I know this is dangerous to say, but Evols. They need some way to recycle the graveyard, and maybe more usable monsters, considering there's...2 Good Evoltiles, and 3 good Evolsaurs.

I agree, both archetypes would appreciate more support.

Genex got a couple of cool toys (e.g. Locomotion, Vindikite), a Gadget-ish playstyle in R-Genex, some actually good members here and there (e.g. Ally Crusher, Accelerator) and so on. In my opinion they need a couple of pushes, such as perhaps an archetype Tensu, and/or Tuners or Synchros that enables them to ladder into Locomotion, Vindikite, etc. and they may reach somewhere.

And Evols could become much better if they got, let's say, a searcher for "Evo-" Spell/Traps so they get Singularity faster, and a Normal-summonable Evolsaur than can put on the board those dead Evolsaurs in the hand. Their own Evolsaur "Wolfbark" (for easy -zars, plus searchable by Fossil Dig in addition to Evo-Diversity) wouldn't hurt either, but I think this would be more of an overkill. Speaking of which, I believe most archetypes/decks would be greatly benefited by a themed Wolfbark/Pirika.

What else would I like to see getting support? Hmm, personally, I would like to see the Winged-Beast "Sphere" archetype become a thing, but since the current members are arguably unrelated to each other and there is virtually nothing tying them together, I guess they would need some kind of overhaul, similar to what was done to Machinas: after the structure deck, the new members barely care about the first Machinas, except for Fortress who can use Force as fodder (but then they got Megaform). Well, the "treat the opponnent's monster as equip cards" gimmick/playstyle could be retained in some way.

I don't know why I never did Evols. I like snakes which are reptiles. I like dinosaurs. And I love dragons and the archetype has all three. What's wrong with me?

Anyways I could see pyro needing help outside of Volcanics and it would be cool to see a Flame Swordsman archetype. Maybe have an ace like Rainbow Swordsman or something.

Reptiliannes and Gorgonic are screaming for attention! They have very cool mechanics (especially Reptilianne) and cooler concepts, Konami, stop making broken messes and give cool stuff support!

I really love gorgons and I feel they could've expanded and done more with them, gg Cosmo.

Both. Whenever I say "lswarm" I'm talking about Evilswarm and Steelswarm. That being said, I do think Steelswarms should get more cards, but most of all I'd like for there to be cards that allow both archetypes to work better together in addition to increasing their control and offense.

You know, the smart direction of this Thread would be to look for the Archetypes that can easily be modernized with the addition of like 1-2 new cards.

I mean.... Volcanics, for example- They liuterally had eveything they could ever want; Blaze Accelerator Reload was literally all they needed, since now it just lets them do that stuff during the opponent's turn, which made a mind blowing difference.
