Cannot be destroyed by Battle. When this Monster battles an opponent's Monster; This Monster's ATK becomes equal to that Monster's ATK, during damage calculation only. If this Monster destroys an opponent's monster by Battle and sends it to the Graveyard, inflict damage to your opponent equal to half of the destroyed monster's ATK in the Graveyard. During your End Phase: Give control of this card to your opponent.

Card grammar is a little off but you should be able to understand it.

Oh, my bad. I thought the other battler was weakened to match this card, rather than this card buffing to match the other monster.

It's searchable, virtually unkillable in battle, and circumvents Catastor which would otherwise first-strike this card before it gets the buff. The control-switching is cool, but can be easily circumvented nowadays. Shame its base ATK is 0 otherwise I'd have a little fun with Vengeful Servant. Either way, flavourfully designed.

I'm on the fence with this card. On the bad side, destruction by battle is somewhat slow for today's metagame standards, and the control switch drawback may end up biting you back. On the good side, it can safely destroy ATK-Position monsters that are indestructible by effects or otherwise unaffected by them, without sacrificing itself as other somewhat comparable combat-removal monsters would do (e.g. D.D. Warrior Lady), plus as a DARK/Warrior with 0/0 stats it has it access to quite a bit of support cards (ROTA, Recurring Nightmare for whatever that's worth, etc.); on top of that, it has the burning effect.

After thinking about it, I would say this is a solid card that should have a niche as a combat-remover to get over monsters indestructible/unaffected by effects if the meta calls for it (similar to how Necloth players tech D.D. Warrior Lady, Bull Blader, etc. do deal with the "Djinn lock"). The player would have to be wary of the drawback though, and avoid ending its turn with this card on the field or otherwise it may end up being punished, and who knows how badly; it wouldn't be nice to give the opponent a monster that can get over a lot of stuff by battle and can later be used as a summon fodder.

Use Remove brainwashing and you are good to go (maybe use safe zone for destruction and targeting immunity, as you would not attack directly anyway, oh and imperial custom).

ROTA target, level 4 and an allure of darkness target.

However let us not forget what this card actually is (volcasaurus in battle form, without real summon conditions and a drawback if you do not end it with that strike).

Well one thing for a way to make a quick power house is to have 2 of these cards and just keep having them duke it out until you have the Attack you like and destroy the other with something like a" Raigeki Break" and attack directly or another monster. And to ramp it up faster you could use "Twin Swords of Flashing Light-Tryce".

Not necessarily. The ATK boost only lasts for the duration of the battle. Once it finishes battling it reverts to 0.
