Lord of D/D [WRITTEN]

Hello, fine peoples! So, yeah I decided to make a support card for an archetype that I don't care for and hardly used. That said, the OG Lord of D. was one of my all time favorite cards and I thought he could use a little revival. As always, CnC appreciated!

Lord of D/D

DARK ****

Fiend/Effect

Once per turn, during either player's turn: you can discard this card; reduce all damage you take during this Phase is reduced to 0. Face-up "D/D" monsters (except "Lord of D/D") you control cannot be targeted by card effects. During your End Phase, take 1000 damage.

1200/1100

Being a tuner makes it do far too much. It can't be targeted, as can no other D/D, has no restrictions, and has a protection effect akin to Damage Juggler.

In a generic sense, it's a level 4 generic tuner that can be run along with cards like Damage Juggler and Juragedo in order to have as many hand traps that actually do something as possinle, which would be very frickin annoyong at best.

In D/D, it's another level 4, a tuner that doesn't restrict you to mediocre cards, makes all your big guys harder to stop, and keeps you from dying.

At least one facet of the card needs to be removed, as it simply does too much for one card.

The effect prevents Cerberus from turning monsters level 4, which to be honest makes rank 4 much more difficult.

but... this is a 4, and if you have this and lili, you're fine. just use cerberus before you play this, provided you have this over lilith in the optimal opening.

Thanks for the critiques! I removed its tuner status (tbh, I thought that was a bit much myself) and allowed it to be targeted (like the OG Lord of D.). The fact remains that this guy can get run over pretty easily which was the drawback I was going for. Thanks again!

Hmm. I like you.

I'm a little confused about the effect. Are there two separate effects here (one activates by discarding, one activates while face up on the field? Or are they all part of a single effect? It seems you could read the card either way at the moment.
