Pendulum Effect
If a face-up "Performage" monster(s) you control is destroyed by battle or card effect: You can Special Summon this card from your Pendulum Zone, then take 500 damage. You can only use this effect of "Performage Flame Mascot" once per turn.

Monster Effect
If this card on the field is destroyed by battle or card effect: You can Special Summon 1 "Performage" monster from your hand or Deck, except "Performage Flame Mascot".

this little guy has taken the OCG by storm, thanks to Damage Juggler, pendulum sorcerer, Wavering Eyes, and Luster Pendulum.

we have all but one of those, and the other one is likely in the TCG version of Master of Pendulum, given extra cards in the TCG set.

>tfw dennis x yuya Tier 0

>tfw clown meta

Assuming we get Sorc when this hits (likely), even without OCG's R4 choices things are looking pretty good for the deck.

Won't be as dominating as in OCG, but yeah probably still a top deck because the deck just spams so much.

Also, I like how M&Ms have an inherently strong pendulum matchup due to maining both Juggler and Wavering.

after testing this is actually quite decent, can be revived by trick clown and then summoning another clown for deck when destroyed, making you can survive more attack while still retain clown for further play, and it can also summon stilshooter from deck which is pretty nice for burn setup

With tellarknight ptolemaious.

Also the card is crazy broken, there's like a million ways to turn hand of it + any destruction into a full field of level 4s and still have a big hand.

I'll be fair and point out there are tons of problematic R4 Xyz for this engine to abuse (Black once pointed out to me that the number of problem Rank 4s exceeds the number of problem Synchros OF ALL LEVELS, and that as pre-DUEA), but yeah, this thing is the most unrestricted floater to date.

Theres only like 3 actual broken rank 4s, tellarknight ptoly, utopia lightning, and exciton knight or something.

Reading comprehension: you're doing it wrong. I said "problem", not "broken".

Also, if you don't think Shock Master is broken, which may I remind you is at 3 in the OCG, we don't see eye to eye.

Unfortunately:

There's no BKSSing around with wording that precise.

They could simply rule that monster effects won't work from the PS scale since it isn't active at the time or won't remember being destroyed or something crazy like that.

But wouldn't it say 'in your Monster Zone' like how it says on Zefraniu, Secret of the Yang Zing?  This card was intended to have its effect work from being popped in the Pendulum Zone as well as in the Monster Zone.  Heck, its effect even works if it was put into the S/T zone for some reason and destroyed.

How? Like, it doesn't have its Mon EFF in the pendulum zone Soo. But it would be pretty crazy for them to rule that, like I said.

As I've said in my previous post, it would have listed whether it would have worked in the Monster Zone or not like Secret.  With its location of trigger being 'Field', that even includes whether it is active as a spell or not.

Sangan doesn't have it's monster effect while equipped to Relinquished, yet if it's sent to the Graveyard off of being equipped to Relinquished, it will still activate.

So yes, it will contradict current rulings.

It wouldn't have its Monster Effect in the Pendulum Zone, but since it's not a monster in the Pendulum Zone, the only way to destroy it is with card effects. Cards destroyed by effects leave the Field immediately upon destruction (whereas they don't go to the Graveyard/etc until the End of the Damage Step when they die in battle, which is important for things like Skill Drain and such).

Therefore, it will go to the Extra Deck and register that it had been on the Field and was destroyed by a card effect, Triggering its Monster Effect.

That's how it should work, at least. That's also how Sangan works when equipped by Relinquished.
