GarlandChaos
Pendulum Effect: Neither player has to tribute monsters to declare an attack with "Insect Queen". Neither player has to toss a coin when "Jirai Gumo" declares an attack. All non-Effect Insect-Type monsters and "Jirai Gumo" gain the following effects.-This card gains 200 ATK for each Insect-Type monster on the field. During the End Phase, if this card destroyed an opponent's monster by battle this turn: Special Summon 1 "Insect Monster Token" (Insect-Type/EARTH/Level 1/ATK 100/DEF 100) in Attack Position. Flavor Text: Don't get too close. This spider will bite you, tie you up in webs, and then suck out your insides. The point of this thing is to make a lot of old Insect monsters, most notably Insect Queen and Jirai Gumo, usable. In case you're wondering why Jirai Gumo got benefits from this card, it's because it is, to my knowledge, the only Effect Insect monster with nothing but negative effects. The level is Jirai Gumo's Level, 4, added to Ganigumo's level, 2, which equals 6. The ATK is Jirai Gumo's ATK added to half of Ganigumo's ATK. The DEF is Ganigumo's DEF, which is 800, doubled. Its name is roughly "Woman Spider" when translated from Japanese. CnC?

The Nyx Avatar
It's a subtle card. Not too sure about the parallel Pendulum Scales (as there's no restriction to what you can Pendulum Summon). Other than that, the card seems fine. It supports two monsters that aren't used often. Trebuchet MS
If a non-Effect monster gains the effect, is it still a non-Effect monster?
GarlandChaos
If a non-Effect monster gains the effect, is it still a non-Effect monster?I'm...not entirely sure. I want to say yes, but I can't seem to find a ruling that says otherwise. So until I find a ruling, the answer is an uncertain "yes".
goodfusion
I like it. Support for old stuff I like. Anyway, if giving non-effect monsters effects was a problem, you could just have it as part of Onna Gumo's effect that they gain ATK and summon a Token. Worded something like this: All non-Effect Insect-Type monsters (except Tokens) and Jirai Gumo gain 200 ATK for each Insect-Type monster on the field. During the End Phase, Special Summon 1 "Insect Monster Token" (Insect-Type/EARTH/Level 1/ATK 100/DEF 100) in Attack Position for each non-Effect Insect-Type monster (except Tokens) and Jirai Gumo you control that destroyed an opponent's monster by battle this turn. If there is 1 problem I have with this card, it is the Pendulum Scales. Different Scales for Left and Right is a very interesting idea, but at the same time removes possibly the main weakness of Pendulum Monsters: that they can very dead in the hand if you have all high or all low scales. To help balance it but keep the alternating Pendulum Scales, you could either change the Pendulum Scales to something like 7 and 2, or give it a restriction on what you can Pendulum Summon (i.e You can only Pendulum Summon Insect-Type monsters). Personally, I would choose the second option as that keeps the intended theme (being able to Pendulum Summon Insect Queen or lol Basic Insect) while making it a lot less abusable.
