Until your next End-Phase this turn: Double the targeted monsters ATK and DEF and its unaffected by your opponents card effects. During the your next End-Phase after this card was activated: The targeted monsters ATK and DEF become 0 and its effects are negated. You can only activate "Glorious Overdrive" once per turn. Flash Flyer - Sakura Posted September 21, 2015 Report Share Posted September 21, 2015 Due to the existence of stuff like Rampage/Overdragon Dragon, Heroic Champion - Excalibur and a lot of other cards that can already boost/pump, I am very iffy about giving them another doubling and immunity to the opponent's effects for the turn. Remember that Machines also have access to Limiter Removal for added boosting, and more often than not, they can definitely OTK with that in mind.This adds more to them. Excalibur hits 8000 ATK on its effect and cannot be stopped via Mirror Force and other backrow. ------------While I'm going to say that simple stat boosting is not everything, the doubling of ATK is certainly potent enough.Giving it effect protection to boot on top of that is excessive. Although, even if you strip the effect protection, it'll still lead to certain monsters being able to OTK regardless, so... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

When I think "Overdrive", I think a Death-or-Glory attack - an attempted push for victory that has drastic consequences should it backfire. This has no drawbacks if you fail to kill. Thomas★Zero Posted September 22, 2015 Author Report Share Posted September 22, 2015 I made changes were its effects where it requires the monster to be Level 8 or lower and after the effect passes during your next End-Phase its ATK and DEF becomes 0 and it loses all of its effects.
