Maeriberii Haan
2 Level 6 monstersIf this card has Xyz Materials when a monster leaves the field; shuffle it into the deck instead. When this card destroys a monster by battle, you can negate its destruction and detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; take control of it, but it cannot attack this turn. When this card is removed from the field; shuffle all monsters taken by this card to their owner's decks. So...yeah. More or less a less potent version of Goyo Emperor's anime stealing effect. Works on pendulum to boot, and negates any floating. The first effect might be a bit much, but yeah. Not sure about stats, so I copied Ptolemy M7's stats for this at the moment. Comments, suggestions, and critics are welcome~ Namusan.

Maeriberii Haan
The continuous effect honestly feels nuts What if it instead punt a monster to the deck when it would be sent to grave OPT instead of a continuous effect?
mitchermitcher
Hijiri best oldhu. Yes they're not relevant but with X-sabers, getting two level 6s out is not a hard feat and I'm sure at least one currently meta deck can probably do that as well. Would use her over Exabeetle. Hell, I'd potentially remove either M7 or Photon Strike Bounzer to make space for her. Both of which has the same ATK/DEF as Hijiri as well. With such an effect, I wouldn't really mind if her attack/defense was lowered. Removing her second effect might make her more balanced, perhaps? I'm a fan of keeping the first effect as is though. Hmm, so right now, it's either keeping the first effect and making the second weaker, or the reverse. Well then, there's two fixes that I can figure out at the moment. 2 Level 6 monstersOnce per turn during either player's turn, if this card has Xyz Materials when a monster(s) leaves the field; shuffle one of them into the deck instead. When this card destroys a monster by battle, you can negate its destruction and detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; take control of it, but it cannot attack this turn. When this card is removed from the field; shuffle all monsters taken by this card to their owner's decks. Or 2 Level 6 monstersIf this card has Xyz Materials when a monster leaves the field; shuffle it into the deck instead. When this card destroys a monster by battle, you can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; Special Summon it to your side of the field instead. Or maybe the two fixes are still problematic? Although, isn't the second fix even stronger than the original? Or is that just me? Alternatively it costs 2 materials to do the Goyo. So it becomes either a continuous/once per turn deck shuffler or a one-time stealer.

Hmm, making it detach 2 in general does sound like a good way to balance it. Still am unsure on how potent its first effect is both original and nerfed though, so I guess I'll wait until that is clearer before deciding whether it should be detach 2 or not. Thanks for the suggestion~
Darj
You could water down the first effect by making it spin any monster that would be sent from the field to the grave; this should include pendulums, assuming it will adopt macro cosmos rulings/mechanics. The second effect looks awkward with the "negate the destruction" clause. I suggest a "Merrowgeist" clause instead:When this card destroys a monster by battle: detach; Special Summon that monster to your side of the field, instead of sending it to the graveyard. Alternatively, it you don't want to destroy the monster at all (to not trigger certain floating effects), you can try something like this instead:When this card battles a monster, at the start of the damage step: detach; that monster cannot be destroyed by battle with this card, also, at the end of the damage step, take control of that monster, but it cannot attack this turn. May need a bit of text polishing, but that's the general idea.
