You cannot Special Summon monster for the rest of the turn, except WIND monsters. You can reveal 1 WIND monster in your hand; until the End Phase, this card is treated as a tuner monster. Each effect of "Divine Wind Priestess, Sanae" can only be activated once per turn.Welp, after three days of hiatus and emotional slump I decided to continue this.Miiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight be ripping Birdman a bit too much, and while it does make sense via lore, I'd rather have the second effect be something else.So....suggestions for that and comments and critiques would be nice, as usual~ Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Even if it's legit a ripoff off Birdman, I likey. Mist Valleys could use more of 'em. Needing to reveal a WIND monster to make her a tuner does to some extent limit her to WIND-based decks and I think that's a fair enough limitation. It doesn't change that she's an easily summon-able level 4 monster but since afterwards you can only special summon WIND monsters, it probably isn't that broken. Flash Flyer - Sakura Posted October 12, 2015 Report Share Posted October 12, 2015 As already mentioned, this is technically a WIND version of Birdman, except without the banishing itself if it leaves the field and requiring that you have a WIND monster in hand.This should be fine, as most Decks can't really use this efficiently without screwing up coherency. I think Majespecters would really use this; they'd probably would appreciate having access to other Synchros that aren't named Ignister, but only original Stardust fits the bill for that, coupled with the restrictions this card imposes. There's also 7s, but again, only Clear Wing. I guess they can use this card to bounce one of their weaker members to make Chidori/Castel or something, while still getting their on-trigger effects. Yeah, probably not an ideal move for them (well, not until we get more generic WIND Synchros that fit their Level range). Speedroids probably could find a use for this, but I'm not all that familiar with their playstyle at this time, so can't say with certainty.All of them are WIND, so the restriction shouldn't do much to screw them over. Suppose it'll help make Level 8s or other stuff if they aren't already able to do so. At best, I suppose you can still use this for regular Rank 4 plays into stuff like Chidori, etc if you opt not to make this into a Tuner. Like Mitch mentioned, it's still a 17/14 monster on a Level 4 body, but you should be fine with it as-is. -----What was your idea for the second effect, if you didn't want for it to become a Tuner? I can see Maje using this for Synchro access, though kinda unsure atm. Main usage I have in mind is Speedroids tbh. SS Terrortop search for Taketonborg return it to hand SS this, SS taketonborg, summon a tuner and then do shenanigans. -----What was your idea for the second effect, if you didn't want for it to become a Tuner? Well, that's what I'm asking. Thinking about some sort of recycle effect with self-bounce, but can't really think of something that might be balanced. Alternatively some sort of Kama 1 effect, but that also seem broken if not balanced properly. You could try with a Firestorm Guards/Caam effect that recycles WINDs for a card draw. Card looks good. More bouncers for Divine Wind are nice, Level4 enables Rank4 plays including Chidori; It reminds me of the Divine Wind Genex decks; heck it's even a Spellcaster for Arcanite Magician plays along Birdman, except that you wouldn't be able to Summon it if you use this card's effect.
