GarlandChaos
Cards Trapped in StoneNormal Spell CardLore: Discard 1 Level 5 or lower EARTH Rock-Type monster; draw 2 cards. You cannot Summon monsters this turn, except EARTH Rock-Type monsters. You can only activate 1 "Cards Trapped in Stone" per turn. Just a draw power card for use in decks like Rockstun, and to also possibly set up the grave for Megarock Dragon. I probably didn't limit it enough, but meh. CnC? Darj
This card looks fine, and it doesn't lack restrictions in my opinion; actually, I dare to say it's the other way around: the Summon lock is unnecessary.Rock decks, which aren't many, would appreciate the extra speed provided by this card. And even if we got a strong relevant Rock deck out of the sudden, I doubt this would become a problem, unless of course, said deck took full advantage from discarding EARTH rocks. Darj
Yes, Gem-Knights could potentially play this and benefit from it. They even got Obsidian to discard and break even, resulting in a +1, but really, it's only 1 card that can do this plus it needs a Normal monster in the grave first to be live, so I don't see it becoming a problem; besides, Gem-Knights barely have an impact on the game anyway, except for Brilliant Fusion but that's more of an engine, so the speed boost would be welcomed. Darj
I know. I just decided to elaborate on Obsidian after realizing it could be discarded by this card for profit, before someone else brought it up.
goodfusion
Provides set-up for Block Golem, Gaia Plate the Earth Giant, etc., while increasing consistency and speeding up your deck. Cards like these can easily become 'too good', but I think the restrictions on it plus it supporting a largely irrelevant part of the game (at the moment, at least) make this fine. The hard once per turn is a good idea and should help prevent it become problematic in the future.
Tinkerer
And here I was thinking that it should banish the rock monster so that it should synergize with "Release from Stone". Then again, Rocks like the Graveyard anyway, so...
